My ranking would probably look like this

1. Canelo vs Gennady Golovkin
2. Andre Ward/Kovalev winner vs Adonis Stevenson
3. Anthony Joshua vs Deontay Wilder
4. Errol Spence Jr vs Terrence Crawford (the most unlikely of this list)
5. Carl Frampton vs Guillermo Rigondeaux

 

I think Joshua's, Uysk's, Kovalev's, Smith's & GGG's teams will come to the rescue before The Can Man terminates them.

 

That was on my list.

 

It's a severe indictment of Stevenson that I have little-to-no interest in this fight. I could pick 20 fights that I'd rather see.

If I had to pick only 5 fights I'd focus on just two divisions so we'd get a clear picture of who the best is. I'd focus on LHW and HW.

1) Ward/Kovalev winner vs Stevenson would be my first choice.

I'd love to see LHW division getting some momentum. Beterbiev vs Ward/Kovalev loser would be nice too.

2) Wilder vs Povetkin

I was pumped for that fight when it was supposed to happen, I'd love to actually see it.

3) Wladimir Klitschko vs Joshua.

I like the idea of this fight

4) Wilder/Povetkin winner vs Klitschko/Joshua winner.

Let's see who the top dog in the division is.

5) Tyson Fury vs Luis Ortiz.

If Tyson Fury gets his **** together then this is a fun fight to make.
