I hope Penn retires. I'm tired of hearing the this time he is training hard story only for him to come in looking like **** and gassing in the first round
Shut the **** up or I'll remove your big lantern Jaw with a pinpoint pawed rangerfinder jab. :vonnecunt:****off:boxx:beat:boxing2
You're not even one of the good trolls, you're ****ing ****. No imagination, no humour, just a boring little piece of excrement that no-one likes or finds amusing. Go suck off your uncle for some pocket money you stinking inbred ****-eyed anal-creampie-munching ******. :smoke
What depraved imagery you conjure. You are one sick puppy. This is a family forum you know. :verysad:dead:barf Now shut your ****ing **** up Brian or I'll decimate you with a light flick of the wrist and a roundhouse to your gormless dome. :rofl:thumbsup
People get old quick and guys like Randy can just keep going.. BJ had a short blazing career, but he and everyone else knows it's over.
Good post. I thought it was gonna be closer because of the 3 rd thing, I thought Penn was gonna win rd 1, Diaz was gonna win rd 3 & rd 2 would be the decider. Penn always starts fast & drops off, even at his best in distance fights... Diaz always starts sloppy & gets more accurate & stronger in just about every fight. I picked Diaz & Im glad he won even tho both he & Penn are amongst my 4 fav fighters (Rua & Nog being the other 2) Diaz deserved more respect than he was getting from arseholes that only know UFC fighters that could not (or refused to acknowledge) his improvement. As for BJ Penn.... I`d have one more crack at Frankie Edgar at his best weight of 155... then win or lose retire as the greatest LW in MMA history.
Keep living in denial, no fighter is a class or 2 above Diaz, not BJ Penn, not GSP, not Anderson Silva, nobody....unless of course you are talking strictly wrestling as opposed to MMA. His boxing, BJJ, stamina, chin, heart & will are as good as ANY fighter in MMA.
Enough is enough; I am ****ing sick of this. Butt hurt fanboys in denial over ole pumpkin face being turned bobble head by Diaz (and who was it who claim Penn had better head movement? wtf??). It's mma, not boxing. Nick Diaz is a top level fighter - standing, humping, whatever. He's a machine. It's time people admit this.
You are the one living in denial dude. Diaz proved he is a top level fighter, but yes BJ's skills are a level above him. As a MMA fighter, they are close. BJ is fighting a weightclass up. It would be the equivalent of Diaz fighting Anderson. How do you think that fight would go?? :think Diaz is very good at a few things and it works for him. At times in that fight, Penn showed his superiority in some areas though. He is a better boxer skillwise, but not overall because he doesn't have the cardio to implement is skill over a 3 round fight. But even after getting badly exhausted and pounded in the 2nd, Penn still was tagging Diaz alot in the 3rd.
I think Diaz is a superb fighter and a totally legit threat to GSP... ...but I have to agree with Dawg. Penn is clearly past his best now, and this is the best Diaz I've ever seen. If you reversed things and had a peak Penn vs a clearly shopworn Diaz and reversed the size differential so that BJ was taller, longer and heavier than Nick, the fight would have been a complete mismatch, far more dominant and one-sided than the fight we saw last week. Diaz is brilliant, but Penn on his best night was sublime, as good a fighter as there has ever been.
