1.Canelo( 4 division Champ , dominated lineal champ at 168 2.Inoue( 4 division champ, recently beat Bonaire) 3.Usyk ( Wbss tournament winner, Undisputed Cruiser) 4..Crawford( was undisputed 3 div champ, dropped due to fighting low competition) 5.Katie Taylor( was undisputed , 2 div champ 6.Teofimo Lopez( defeated arguably #1 p4p champ Lomachenko) 7.Josh Taylor( unified champ, wbss tournament winner) 8.Errol Spence( unified champ , decently dominated a top welter) 9.Vasily Lomachenko ( dropped spot due to losing) 10.Jermell Charlo. (Unified champ (3 belts) at junior middleweight) These are my top ten . Replace any fighter you'd like with a fighter you think deserves that spots and explain your reason.
Katie Taylor needed a major robbery to get past Persoon, in her last fight she couldn't stop an opponent who did not look or fight like she belonged in a professional ring. If Shields and Marshall fought, maybe the winner would have an argument to being so head and shoulders above her division she should be on a P4P list?
Usyk definitely too high, he's somewhere between 8-10 if even on the list at all. swap Inoe with Spence get Kattie Taylor off the list, she is a woman get Josh Taylor out of there. as boxing fans we need to stop falling for these Callum Smith/Caleb Plant type fighters
I think estrada and/or ssr belongs on there. Think you have Usyk and taylor a little too high but just imo. Good list tho. Like that you included taylor though p4p rankings often put a lot of stock in power which very few knockout artists in women's boxing
Sounds like a joke. The best football players in the world are cristiano ronaldo, messi, maradona and alex morgan. Beyond stupid. You can stick your NWO up your ass.
Katie Taylor and Canelo don't deserve to be that high. Both are cash cows for their respective genders and both have been gifted wins
I personally don't rate Taylor he maybe the best 140lbs right now but the division isn't that strong or deep in my opinion, if guys come up or if he moves up he won't be keeping his 0 for long. I get the comparison to Smith like Smith he has little head movement, high guard, good at basics but when he faces someone really good just like Smith, he'll get dominated. For me Taylor doesn't belong on any p4p list.
King: Manny Pacquiao 1. Inoue (WBSS winner and the most dominant fighter on this list) 2. Usyk (WBSS winner plus going to heavy) 3. Crawford (undisputed, but through weak ass divisions) 4. Golovkin (beat Clenelo twice) 5. Lopez 6. Spence 7. Clenelo (shot fighters, PEDs, rehydration clauses, stacked wraps, short camps imposed on fighters) 8. Estrada 9. Fury 10. Lomachenko
I get the feeling you haven't watched enough of him if you think he's as basic as Smith is. He isn't just a simple high guard no head movement fighter. He's also not that basic, he's quite a tricky little southpaw in fact. He stands out to me for being a very non Euro style fighter, which makes sense given his early karate background.
I'll admit I've only seen a handful of his fights but what I have seen doesn't make me thing he's anything special. He moves better than Smith, uses some nice lateral movement to create angles but his defence is basic, he doesn't counter punch from what I've seen, everyone he's faced who's decent so far just stands there in front of him and allows him to work. He throws then they throw, but he throws more and more quality but there isn't anything there that screams elite p4p material.
