Seriously you are doing pretty well blocking his shots and have no problem with it, and now you sudden quit because of a punch that hit your glove.

Seriously it wasn't even a devastating shot, something that most fighters would overcome. More like a sting than a stun.

He sure submitted to a lot of punishment if he got paid to lose.

It hit him on the ear, which takes your equilibrium, and he was hit several times before that last punch.

He was KO'ed, end of story.

So they had a plan to fix a fight and they decided in advance: "Barker, go down in the 10th, but be sure to block the punch as a little wink-wink to the paranoid fantasists"

He quit and complaining about how it hurt! Who does that? He was taking his shots pretty well until that shot.

First off. It did hit the glove but the punched continued and hit Barker on the top/side of the head.

Barker likely quit but it's better to look like you were KOed than quit.

It did seem like a soft knockdown, but hey, I weren't the one taking Sergio's punches in there.

He just wanted to give up because there was no chance to win. That's it!

Because taking punishment over the course of 10 rounds doesn't weaken you AT ALL.

Ive seen fixed fights before. And they are never what people expect them to be like.

Usually fixed fights are more obvious, end after 1 to 3 rounds and neither fighter ever loses as much blood as both Martinez and Barker did tonight.

theres far too many morons who arent very familiar with the sport on this forum :roll::roll:

he was clipped behind the ear, he may or may not have made a conscious decision not to get up at that point but the punch that sent him to the ground was IN NO WAY suspect, it caught him directly behind the ear
