Dont really see how a split could be the right decision.
Terry lost that by a couple of rds

I used to really rate Flanaghan a few years ago but he became inactive and when he did fight it was just all round poor!!
plus he has no fans and can barely string 2 words together so he is a hard sell

I think he should drop back a level or 2 and fight every 6 weeks to let him build a profile while improving at the weight then get battered by someone decent..

I have to disagree, I thought it was too close to call.

I have to say I think it was close but Hooker just edged it. I wonder if Frank fancies keeping things in house by matching him against Davies/Catteral the latter whose career seems to be going backwards under Warren. Out of the three Davies is the only one who can work a crowd so Flannagan v Davies would be logical at some stage.

I agree m8. I think going up in weight without ever fighting top opponents was Flanagans undoing. Fought Hooker was really awkward though and definetly deserved it. If Taylor beats Postol would have loved him to have fought Hooker but might get him in WBSS.

Hooker is going in the WBSS! So it looks like it could happen.

Taylor would dismantle hooker, im sure of that.
Terry whilst definatly losing also put in quite a bad perfornance and the tactics were shot to shiit.
A lot of unnecesary movement in the early rds coupled with going the wrong way and squaring up on attacks when the fight got going made terry look amaterish at times.
Taylor would show hooker how to fight, im sure of that. Do you know what, i reckon OHD would also beat hooker. Terry made it easy for Hooker on sat night.

Ive always been a fan of Turbo and always thought Terry would bladder OD but on that showing on Saturday I’d have to agree. Davies stops Hooker and he probably stops Flanagan too. I don’t think Frank will risk him by putting this fight on though.

Whilst I don't like to say it, I think Terry's limitations got shown up the other night. He's a good all round fighter who does most things well but nothing exceptionally. But he is one-dimensional. When he can counterpunch an opponent he's fine, but take that away and force him to go on the offence against a back foot fighter who he doesn't have the physical advantages over and its a different story. When he's in a tough fight, he often also resorts to dirty tactics. Needs to regroup at commonwealth type level and then try and come again with a plan B. I still think he's a level above the likes of Ohara Davies, but no more than a contender at top level, even in a division full of relatively unproven fighters. As has been said before, his lack of charisma, poor promotion and messy fighting style do him no favours either.

Almost certain that they'll manage to drag Hooker back over for a rematch.

Taylor as you mention in a post would beat him and beat him well. Terrys tactics were terrible i agree, but he's at his best when he's the awkward fighter and on this occasion that shoe was on the other foot.
