Amazing fight, amazing fighters. I wish Barkley had more business sense. He was a great fighter and deserves a great retirement.

Barkley was so much bigger than Duran. Duran was the best lightweight champion in boxing history, yet he went up in weight, and was still successful..........loved Duran Vs. De Jesus fights, 15 rounds of pure Hell!!!

Its my favourite Duran fight, an incredible performance. That left hook he gets hit with I dont know how he didnt go down from that, then the KD in the 11th still gets me excited.

    Great, great fight.

Love this. A shame it was the night before Tyson v Bruno as it didn't get a lot of attention

Barkley is one of the many sad stories in boxing.

He made millions, but last time I check, still lives in the projects in the South Bronx.

I saw pictures of the south bronx from the 70's a while back, what a terrible place to grow up in, its really sad that he actually made enough cash to get out of there only to end up there again.
Im happy Duran got the decision though, that fight was really close.

Great performance by Duran against a much bigger opponent in Barkley that was coming of a huge upset and a huge win against Tommy Hearns who he stopped in three.

    Simply an ATG fight.

Picture this, lightweight moves up to 160 and knocks down an iron chinned beast.

    Only Roberto Duran.
