Bball: In that video you posted, do you exhale, then pull your stomach in, or do you exhale then inhale, and then pull your stomach in? and does it work?
I've done it a few times, but not consistently enough to see much results because I always forget to do it :yep But I take a big inhale and then exhale as much as I can. Then when all the air is out of me, then I'll suck my stomach in. They say 20 seconds, but I'd rather do it longer than that. But the few times I have done it, I couldn't tell if it made my stomach flatter, but I know it gave my whole core a workout, even my lower back some
Well maybe I should elaborate. I hold it in for around 20 seconds, but I do more sets than what they recommend. If I feel like I'm running out of breath though while doing it, I may just take small little breaths while still keeping my stomach sucked it. I think the main point behind this exercise is to flex and hold your stomach in as hard as you can, and the holding your breath part of it is just there to make sure you can suck in your stomach as much as possible.
You probably could do it every other day, but I'd probably do it every other day if you're also training. I tweaked my lower back a little when i tried doing too much
