Strategy was simple -- cut the distance on Wilder so he can't set up his punches. Stay on the front foot, take the fight to him and wear him down with the extra bulk. Reminded me of Canelo-GGG 2 (Canelo strategy).

Absolute brilliance from Fury. I like both men, but it's clear who the better fighter is and it's also clear who the best heavyweight in the world is today.

Bring on Fury-Joshua and eventually Fury-Usyk if Fury defeats Joshua.

All credit to Fury. He is an unbelievable talent, and the weight gain worked. Also much credit to Wilder. He was totally exhausted and hurt but he would not give up.

    Great fight.

Essentially, Tyson Fury just Marvin Hagler'd a 6' 7" Tommy Hearns. Flawless.

Great performance. I prediction was he would put on a box in clinic and he certainly did

Although I didn’t think he would really increase his power that much that he he couldstart dropping wilder so early

bravo to fury for an outstanding performance

    Pretty much, yeah.

Also, the extra bulk on Fury certainly seemed to help him in taking Wilder's punches. Those shots had no effect on Fury tonight.

The weight gain worked brilliantly. And to be fair to Wilder, Fury is simply too large for him with Fury at 273 pounds. The gap is too much.

All the leaning that Fury did on Wilder helped to wear him down, as well.

He is a brilliant, brilliant fighter. Look at how much he is able to adjust his styles. Can box, can maul, can brawl. The guy is a phenom.

His team figured out the strategy to defeat Wilder. And the formula worked.

Very intrigued by how Fury-Joshua goes.

I do think this shows that Anthony Joshua would KO Wilder. He would be able to implement this gameplan more effectively than Fury did, and with way more power for a real KO.

I'd still love to see that fight. But Joshua's bulk likely gives him the edge.

Ya know, I had the same thought when I saw Wilder wobbling around on those skinny legs. Didn't he look weak as a kitten?

Fury can't be allowed to leave America with that shiny green belt! Somebody needs taking a test!

Loving the lovy dovy posts on Fury after so much negativity that Wilder was going to flatten him. This was a gang **** tonight, no one has ever done Wilder like this before. Heck even AJ cannot do this.
