It wasn’t flawless but the gameplay was tremendous so full credit goes to Big John Fury for halting Davison’s weight loss strategy and to Andy Lee and Sugar Hill for the training.
yep, I totally thought Wilder would KO him. Fury was just like he said, he bossed him & then knocked him out. I was wrong, what else do you want me to say?
That was as good of a rematch adjustment fight as I can recall. Team Fury learned all the lessons, made the fixes and just steamrolled. It was incredible to watch.
He really defies the notion that an athlete should only focus upon what they do best and not focus on changing, adjusting, or rounding out their talents.
Great point. Scary thing about Tyson is that he can do everything. So he doesn't have to just focus on one thing.
He's not "pillow-fisted" either. When he sits down on his punches he can hit hard enough to get the job done.
He was a very physically imposing force in there. He looked like a monster compared to Wilder. He may not be known for his power but when you are that big your shots land with a thud. And I also think Wilder may have gained too much weight trying to equalize the weight advantage. That may have slowed him down and affected his stamina.
