Flawless performance by Fury to defeat Wilder

It wasn’t flawless but the gameplay was tremendous so full credit goes to Big John Fury for halting Davison’s weight loss strategy and to Andy Lee and Sugar Hill for the training.

 

yep, I totally thought Wilder would KO him. Fury was just like he said, he bossed him & then knocked him out.
I was wrong, what else do you want me to say?

 

He really defies the notion that an athlete should only focus upon what they do best and not focus on changing, adjusting, or rounding out their talents.

 

Fury gave him little respect and made sure no Faux judges could rob him. Man of his word.

He's not "pillow-fisted" either. When he sits down on his punches he can hit hard enough to get the job done.

 

He was a very physically imposing force in there. He looked like a monster compared to Wilder. He may not be known for his power but when you are that big your shots land with a thud. And I also think Wilder may have gained too much weight trying to equalize the weight advantage. That may have slowed him down and affected his stamina.
