Sturm is very tough dude. He punches very hard and has very good defence. He is slick and good mover. He will outclass Cotto.:nut

    based on what??
sturm has made a career of avoiding the big boys, but he still made time to lose to geale, 40 year old soliman and 40 year old castillejo
    give me a break...

Anyone with a degree of skill and isn't crippled in some way gives Cotto a hard time. Sturm isn't the fighter he used to be by a long shot, but neither is Cotto, I still think his rebirth is a mirage.

I actually think Zbik, Macklin, Geale, Sylvester, Soliman and Murray would beat Cotto as well, I think he is too small for MW and any healthy fighter will give him a lot of trouble. Sturm isn't great not saying he is, but I think he has enough still in his tank to beat Miguel. If Sergio was even 60% of what he was Cotto wouldn't have seen the final bell in their fight.

and I agree that any good version of Martinez could have changed the playing field easily, but bringing guys like sturm and Sylvester into play now just because it's convenient is nothing short of disrespectful in my book
at least macklin, geale and soliman have strived to test themselves, but guys like sturm and Sylvester (and steiglitz) bought the sven ottke guide to 'getting rich but die not trying'

I agree Sturm is a pvssy he's ducked far too many fighters, but I still think he'd be too much for Cotto.

Sergio is my favorite fighter maybe I'm hoping anyone will KO or beat Cotto, I may have an agenda.
