If I didnt have a bet on Dawson I would like to see Flintoff win.

He's clearly taking it seriously and has put a lot into it. But he is a bit ****.

Cant fault him for his effort, dedication and commitment so far though. Best of Luck to him.

That would only depend on who I wanted to win the fight :think . Im not or ever have been a fan of Flintoff either as a cricketer or a personality but I would never wish him hurt....but I think that he might be

If it's only 4 x 2 Flintoff on points at 2/1 seems like quite good odds.

What used to really annoy me when I went to a show, was the 8 x 2's. I can understand 4 x 2's and to a point 6 x 2's (but I would rather see 4 x 3's) but 8 x 2's really seemed to be taking the micky, as these fights should of been 6 x 3's as the fighters involved tended to have a fair bit of pro experience.

If local promotional materials from round me mam's way are to be believed, Flintoff will be allowed to enter the ring wielding a cricket bat and three stumps while protected by a helmet (with face cage removed) and pads. If that is indeed the case then I like him to win by RTD 1 due to battered limbs and head on the part of his opponent. I agree that this seems far-fetched although to be fair we have 2 minute rounds confirmed and the possible reality show angle

They are on 3x3 in in the Ams too these days. Hated when they did 4x2 in the Olympics.

Flint doesn't look to have a huge amount of talent or technical ability BUT he seems to really be up for it and a tough lump. These two things can account for much more than the talent and skill, especially at this stage. Thats why I'm really intrigued despite it being a tall order to become a pro boxer at 30 something.

Flint doesn't shy away from shots, he stands in range, he fires at will and seems to be willing to spar anyone of any size and ability so I'm intrigued tonight and hope he can win. His opponent doesn't "look" to be any good or very big so it could work.
