    Where's this deal on mate?

Despite having no interest in the flintoff fight itself, two tickets for 30 quid or so would be good value to go watch vassell v heffron and have a night out!

Absolutely no promotion of Heffron- Vassell? A pretty significant local derby... I have my doubts this will take place. Its not as if ****** owes Sky any favours.

Actually I agree, I guess there is value there to see a full evening of boxing for half price.

    This is ****.

Sky doing a documentary on the fight but wont show the card or promote the two fellas headlining it in any way shape or form.

Feel sorry for Vassell and Heffron

Seriously though, why is this at the MEN? They could have put it at Bowlers or The Velodrome. As it is it will be a half empty stadium with a wank atmosphere and crap views. What a stupid endeavour. Anyone think Flintoff and the team organising this overestimated his popularity a tad?

Doubt they're using the whole arena, but yeah seems a daft choice.

Just shows you what true boxing fans really think of this farce. Not interested in paying to see some cricketer fight in some joke boxing match against a no mark whilst he and his trainer insist it's not a publicity stunt.

Feel sorry for Heffron and Vassell, two good fighters who are suffering because they're fight is on this card.

    Load of crap fight anyway.

Don't forget though, Davie Haye did this exact same deal against Enzo, and it's the fans who have already bought tickets that should be pissed off/demand a refund on a ticket

I think they should do a hasty rethink and consider putting the two main events on the Pricey show just down (up?!) the road.

I know its different promoters, but it on the same network and I'm sure they could sort something.

Not sure how the tickets for Price Skelton are selling, pretty good I should imagine, but it wouldn't do the show any harm having Flintoff on the undercard.

Thats what should have happened all along.

It's not right that Flintoff should be headlining for his first fight. Especially when there are a lot of up and coming fighters who have trained for years to be in a position like that. I think it's a disgrace and a mockery of boxing. I am sure many other boxers feel the same way about this joke.

And Barry Mcguigan should feel ashamed to be partaking in this after he knows the struggle it takes to get to one of the big arenas.
