Gorman just went out there and brutally demolished a guy flip looked like ass against but gets no hype?

Is it because he's fat and looks 40?

He doesnt have a cool sounding euro name (gorman sounds like gormless)

In any regard keep an eye on gorman he is a tough mother with really fast hands.

    Hrgovic kind of sucks.

    There's actually hype behind him?

Gorman has potential, due to his athleticism, hand speed, and aggressive nature, but his offense is incredibly one-dimensional. I think with the right trainer he could become very serious player, but right now I can't really get excited.

Because his fundamentals were so sound, and he couldn't get past his jab, Turner was scared of Hrgovic so he played it safe throughout, he barely laid a finger on Filip, but because Gorman is less skilled and was easier to teh distance on and easier to hit, Turner put forth a little more effort, and paid for it dearly, since that left him open to hooks and uppecuts. The same would have happened against Hrgovic had Big Sexy gone all out there.

Gorman wouldn't win a round against Hrgovic.

lol, you really have a head of steam after going waaaaaay out on a limb and picking Crawford don't you? So brave. Gorman is a fat slob who looked amazing because he had a face first punching bag in front of him, Filip schools him without breaking a sweat and reduces him to the blobby worthless joke that he is.

Gorman may have some power, but Hrgovic has more of the skills of a real fighter.

That being said. Hrgovic looks like he is sleeping in there every time I have seen him. I hope is is just the kind of guy who fights to the level of his competition. There have been fighters, Michael Moorer comes right to mind, who just can't concentrate and ultimately pay the price.

That's it more than anything else. He seems to completely lack the killer instinct.

He does have good balance, I'll give him that. And a passable jab.

Slow hands, though. And just no kind of offense that would worry any serious contender.

Gorman reminds me of John McDermott. Yes he is a very good solid fighter, but his career will ultimately be fought at British to European level only.

For Gorman to go places he needs to ditch the pie, ale and chips diet and invest in a real boxing trainer and professional diet. He clearly won’t do that.

Hrgovic clearly is over rated from what I have seen of him. Again I very much doubt he makes it all that far, given his defensive frailties. When Tom Little is painting pictures on you, just what will happen when that’s a higher level fighter? He still looks like an amateur too.

I can't believe Gorman is only 21, he looks much older. Sure he just murked Sean Turner more impressively than Hrgovic but that might just mean he hits harder, doesn't mean he's a better fighter.

Gorman is small for a heavyweight in this era, he's clearly not in the best shape, he's fun to watch but his prospects are limited. Once he steps up he'll get found out, at best he becomes a gate keeper but more likely he remains a domestic level heavyweight.

As for Hrgovic like any fit, young, technically sound prospect people are looking at him with hopefulness. But he has a lot to prove and a lot to improve before anyone can say for sure he's a future champion. He leaves his chin in the air and doesn't move his head enough for me. Joyce beat him comprehensively in the WSB, so currently Hrgovic is nothing more than potential because currently he's nowhere near ready for any world class heavyweight.

Hrgovic is pretty good fighter, he's skilled and fast and has fine chin (at least based on his amateur career and WSB fights).

But he definitely isn't a hard hitter.

He couldn't stop guy whom Gorman later destroyed in 3, despite landing everything at will.

Tom Little took many flush shots too, and he isn't known for iron chin.

Hrgovic's power is 5 of 10 at best.

People want him to be the next Klitschko, but he doesn't have the power of even OLD Vitali, let alone young Vitali (Let alone Wlad at any point).

Just watched Gorman vs Turner. Impressive performance from Gorman... against a guy 5'11. Gorman is listed as 6'3, but in reality, he's about 6'1. Gorman reminds me a bit of Joey Dewejko, excellent boxing skills, good out boxer and counter puncher, but with his height and reach, I'm not sold at all, you really have to have good inside and pressure game, ala Povetkin/Ruiz/Takam to be competitive in the heavyweight division at that height these days. Against guys the size of Hrgovic with their skills, they will jab Gorman's head off while Gorman will have no answer. Still early days for Gorman though, he's only 21, he and Dewejko should get off the Ricky Hatton diet, both of them could make a real go of it at Cruiserweight.

Now maybe, but gorman is only 21 hasnt boxed for that long and has a lot of upside, he definetly could play a big roll in the division in the future.
Turner went into the filip fight knowing he had a punchers chance and just triednto survived. While he was full sure he would knock gorman out from what he eas saying
