Im debating it right now. Fully aware Gorman is a much more talented technical fighter, but his team are scared to put him in against a 6'5 260p puncher with a long reach. For me, that spells 'deficiencies' against tall rangy fighters that can either box or punch. As ive been saying all along, I like Gorman, good prospect, but no point talking about him stepping in or fighting on the inside against big guys like Hrgovic when he cant even get in the ring with guys like Nick Webb yet. Gorman still has trouble against the big boys because he isnt a step in inside fighter.

Gorman would get more hype if he changed his first name to Norman.

Talking crap.Gorman has far more handspeed, punch variation, movement and shotmaking ability than Hrgovic. He's also a better inside fighter. And why has Turner said on twitter that Gorman has sledge hammers for fists? He never said that about Hrgovic.

    Gorman? Are you serious?

All he does is lean in and try to set up his right hand. He has nothing else. His hook sucks, because he never leaves the "OH right" posture. No body work, and a forgettable jab. No counter punching....

I like Gorman, I think he has a ton of potential & with the right trainer could go far, but where is this variety you speak of?

Gorman has stated he's 6'4 and was as tall as Dubois when they stood back to back. He's also taller than Parker when they stood next to eachother.I cant wait for Gorman to tool your Eastern Euro Slavic fighters as his distant cousin Tyson has done. They all move in straight lines.

If hes as tall as Dubois hes 6'5 -6'6 then, Gorman must grow an inch every fight, like Pinocchio, shame his reach never has. Im from Australia/New Zealand/Dubai lad, so let me be honest with ya, you dont have to worry about Gorman fighting former world amateur stars like Filip Hrgovic yet, after his incredible win over 5'10 1/2 out of shape club fighter coming off a loss looking for a payday, Sean 'T-rex arms' Turner, lets just focus on trying to get him in the ring with a solid tall and rangy local club fighter like Nick Webb first to see if he can handle it.

I could sit down and type out a small book explaining why Hrgovic is better than Gorman, and why he beats him H2H 10 out of 10 times, but there's absolutely no getting through to Brits after a fat British level hypejob smashes another fat British level hypejob to bits. SO I'd be wasting my breath. Styles make fights, Turner stylistically plays right into the hands of Gorman, which is exactly why I picked Gorman to stop Turner, when most picked UD.

If he's not of similar height to Dubois then why were they eye to eye in an IFL video?YouTube IFL Dubois and Gorman. He's already beaten a tall and rangy fighter in Mohamed Soltby who moves better than Webb and has a better jab.He took away Soltby's jab with hard counter punching. Are you gonna claim Solby's a bum?Hughie Fury would box Hrgovic's head off.Keep hating though, comparing Gorman to Joey D who's 5'10 and keep hoping that Gorman wouldn't absolutely tool Hrgovic who lost to British heavies like Joyce and Fraser Clarke in the amatuers.

You don't know anything about styles making fights. You picked Lemiux to beat Saunders.Saunders is far more fluid in terms of handspeed and movement so if you know so much about styles making fights why would you pick Lemiux?

Gorman is pretty impressive for 21 but Hrgovic surely has more pedigree and polish.

No, **** for brains, I picked Saunders to dominate Lemieux YEARS AGO on here, long before the fight was even announced, I also picked Saunders to beat Lee and Eubank Jr. I'm one of if not BJS's biggest fanboy on here. Read the forum a little more closely. You say I don't know anything about styles? Really? Well I was the only guy on the forum that said Warrington would be a stylistic nightmare for Selby and Hooker would be a stylistic nightmare for Flanagan. Try again dingbat.

Calling anyone who is willing to step in the ring a 'bum' is a British phenomenom that is completely disrespectful and classless. Soltby is an unknown German cruiserweight journeyman without a single victory of note. Webb is a puncher who would KO him in 1 round. Just fight Nick Webb. This 'going another way' from team Gorman has been the wrong way. Nick Webb is still waiting.
