Flirst glance at Wlad vs Povetkin...

This time wlad dont win only by using jab. He must use his right more often and Povetkin will be down quite quickly. Povetkin has never feel the real pover...i even see Chris Byrd get povetkin confused a couple times and to night light puncher like Chambers do it again.

 

I just read on another forum that Povetkin after the fight said that he has a lot of work to do before even thinking of fighting Klitschko.

Povetkin is not ready for Vlad. I hope Vlad does not hurt him to badly because Povetkin has a great future in the heavyweight division, except for Vlad.

 

Good point. And a point that will turn the change Povetkin's entire game plan. He may slip in and land combos against Chambers, but Wlad's left hook and torpedo right hand will cause Povetkin to rethink the whole coming in thing.

 

Exactly, I dont know who dissappointed more this month, Chagaev or Povetkin? They both showed how easily they can be beat by Wlad in there last matches, matbe Wlad really is head and shoulders above the competition.:think

Dont get too exctited, I still think Valuev and Peter would give him some trouble, but Wlad is front runner of this weak Heavyweight division.:yep

 

Really? Valuev will get KO'ed very quickly and Peter littlebit later, my friend....there is no real threat against wlad...or maybe lucky punch.

Nowadays division is grown upp males, not a little growing older timers

 

While your right there are bigger Heavyweights now, but the skill level of most of the Heavyweights have diminished greatly, guys dont even come into the ring in shape anymore, the Heavyweight division is on the decline my friend, in talent and in popularity.:deal

 

There's plenty of talent in the Heavyweight division, I think you're mad you can't spell or properly pronounce their names.................

 

Popularity maybe yes, but skill levell is the same than it would be a couple years ago. Smaller fighter are always better fighters in P4P list...speed and more entertaining..big size, you will lose some speed but get more KO power..

 

Good analysis, I just wish someone would come out of the wood work and give Wlad a competitive fight. I mean really cant say it's because there smaller than Wlad there going to have trouble landing, because Peter who is not considered much as far as handspeed goes, was able to land on Wlad pretty frequently in there fight and he's only 6'0 and a half. Brewster as well in there first fight found openings at times, he's only 6'1 himself.

I agree with the majority of your post, but I do give Valuev and Peter a decent shot of beating Wlad on any giving night, Wlads chin is still very weak, so it can be exposed if a solid punch is landed from a good puncher.

 

The division is fianlly on an upswing in popularity, after being in a deep lull for a few years.

I think Povetkin Wlad will do great sales in Germany........Maskaev Vitali, as well.............as for the recent past.........The Wlad Peter fight was a big success and the IBrag Wlad fight wil further help to improve things, not to mention the fact that when we finally have a unified champion, things will then start to become clear, and the champion wil start to get more and more media coverage, TV appearances, etc.

Things are looking up, no question about it.

 

Did you watch either the Povetkin/Chambers fight or the Chagaev/Skelton fight? I was not impressed with either fighter, and I like Chagaev. Aside from your boy Wlad, I dont see any real talent in any of these fighters to be honest with you.
