The Long Count...Dempsey catching and decking Tunney Hurricane Carter's ko of Emile Griffith Duran's win over Leonard Rahman's and McCall's ko's over Lewis
Well i certainly would not call Duran's first win over Leonard a fluke.. He earned it by putting forward an exceptionally vigorous, and Savagely Classy effort over 15 Rounds, just before this he had done similar to Carlos Palomino, It was only after the first Leonard fight that Roberto lost some Focus and became a bit erratic with his results, I dont think you can call Duran V Leonard 1st a Fluke. it was the Product of a Scintillating Performance.
yeah, as **** as I am about misspellings, I typed "fliukes",........ Yes, I think it was a fluke, as SRL could have fought more like he did in the rematch, and employed his great hand and foot speed...
Duran's win over Leonard wasn't a fluke. He was as highly motivated as any fighter I've ever seen to win a fight. He had a huge experience advantage over Leonard, and it showed in which one adhered to a winning game plan. Lewis's ko losses weren't flukes either. The fact it happened TWICE indicates Lewis simply didn't have a great chin. Now, You could call Doug DeWitt's one punch ko loss to Jose Quinones a fluke. DeWitt was known for an iron chin before and after that fight, and Quinones was hardly a KO artist.
