    He was scheduled... But the fight didn't happen.. you know training for something and actually performing are two very different things..

    As long as you have something lined up you will stay in the rankings...

    Even based on this premise Mosley would have been inactive for around 10 months between the Margarito fight and starting training for Berto and Floyd will be inactive for around 14 months between his fight with Mosley and starting training for Ortiz so hardly any great difference.

    That new meaning of floored was absurd, but why such a big fuss over this "where does the line go in being active and inactive"?

    My rough estimation is that the fighter is active when he has fight scheduled (or planned) and is training for a fight (doesn´t matter is the contract signed or not).
