I'd say MW is the insecure one. If he said "actually, you know what, that was a little silly from me and I see that I was wrong" he wouldn't get the **** taken out of him. But he'll argue till the cows come home that "floored" means being momentarily stunned!

I'd say 9-10 months without a scheduled opponent is inactive, especially with up and coming boxers/prospects.

My self-confidence has never been higher. I like laughing at the stupidity of others. That's what I do most of the time I'm on here. I keep serious boxing discussion for the Classic. Cretins like you and MichiganWarrior amuse me no end.

Just because a future fight has been signed and that fighter is in training doeasn't mean his streak of inactivity has been snapped.

Since you insist training for a fight should count as ring activity, let's imagine this scenario:

God forbid, Floyd breaks his hand 7 weeks into training for the Ortiz fight, I mean a really bad injury that takes a year to fully heal, and then finally gets to fight Ortiz in September 2012. Would you say Floyd was inactive for 1 year (Sep. 2011 Sep. 2012) or 2 years 4 months (May 2010 - Sep. 2012)?

And really, if Floyd considered training camp as ring activity, why would he insist on tune up fights?
