'Now the Las Vegas fighter's (Flores) camp have revealed that they see the WA star (Green) merely as a gatekeeper - not top drawer but a big enough scalp to secure their man's passage to what they see are the division's main players'.

Sounds like Flores is no fool either. Reckon he's got Green worked out in what he says, but talk is cheap, as we all know.

He's got the class to back it up.

BJ is a fundamentals type of guy, and doesn't excel in any one area but is a good enough jack-of-all-trades to pull down a win over Green, IMO. In fact I'd leave Danny with just a puncher's chance.

Based on having heard him interviewed before many times, it doesn't surprise me a bit or leave me doubting for a second that Flores is unafraid and views Green as a stepping stone.

Let's hope this bout lives up to its potential.

Although there are some good Aussie match-ups in the near future, we've had some absolute stinkers lately!

Good stuff, Flores won't be coming here just for a payday, which means we'll get to see a competitive fight.

talk is cheap... i remember one of dannys recent opponents talking about punching holes in walls at cruiserweight... i hope its a great fight, but i think danny will have too much for bj

Interesting that in this forum most people believe this fight could go either way,yet if you look at the ABF forum a lot of people are saying this is a mis match.
Robbie Pedan especially thinks that BJ is way over rated and known to be a bit chinny.
Personally i think i'll back Danny by decision if the odds are decent because from what i've seen of bj he likes to move around and he really tends to get on his bike once hes been tagged so Danny might have to chase him a bit:deal

Should be one interesting fight LJD, particularly if BJ comes in heavier than Green and can use that to his advantage.

We'll soon know one way or the other about BJ's chin if Green connects well.

oh dont think im a Green nuthugger.the only reason hes taken this fight is because of the Briggs fiasco otherwise it would be Cameron and other semi-retired bums that are eligible under the IBO's pathetic computer ranking system.i just like seeing cocky Americans lose.:thumbsup

Yep its an intreging fight to say the least mate:good
Dannys looking to come in at about 187,i think he weighed 183-184 for his last 2 fights so BJ is going to have a fair weight advantage come fight night not to mention the 7" reach advantage which could be a worry.
As for BJ's chin i've been told he was dropped twice in a fight but came back to win I'm not sure which fight it was it may have even been at heavyweight.

Apparently a guy called Bloomfield dropped him a couple of times in their bout back in 2003. But Flores had ony been fighting pro for about 6 months at that stage, and Bloomfield weighed in 12 lbs heavier.
