lets just say green ain the sharpest tool in the shed. when he lost to beyer he was outsmarted, tactically. thats the way to beat green, and mundine did just that. Green was unable to execute a plan B and lost. Flores may have handspeed, but hes shown nothing in his footage to suggest major ringsmarts. let see if his skill and handspeed are enough to to keep green at bay...
I agree, Hmmm. Flores lacks ringsmarts, has a lazy jab and no power in his hook. His only advantage will be his weight and that won't be enough to even get close.
An aussie forum on one of the biggest international boxing websites. I guess I was just hoping to get more views from the other side. If I were a Flores fan, you'd think once they found out he was Australian, they'd want to learn more about him and perhaps check out Australian boxing forums. I have nothing against YouTube, in fact I watch alot of the international and historical boxing matches I can't see. But the quality of YouTube is so much more different to watching it live and inferior to watching it on a HD PPV television, I'd just like to hear somebody who has seen him fight close and personal. I don't trust anything that comes from mainstream media, nor do I trust The Fist magazine, don't know anyone who can elaborate on Flores, so all I really have is YouTube and a few websites.
Sean Sullivan is another example of no plan "B". Green gets more desperate as the rounds progress when he cant stamp his authority with a stunning series of punchers or a knockout.
I hope Green gets bashed, that ***** done his dash with me long ago.If Danny wins he will just go back 2 fight nobodies.
do you really consider mundine "ring smart"? Was mundine really ring smart in the fight? My impression was that mundine beat green with pretty much speed and some above average defence.... dont think he worked the ring that well at all.... in fact it was one of the few fights that mundine didnt backpedal like a motherfuker
ive been a green fan for a while, funny thing is id like to see him lose too for some reason, or at least dragged though the trenches
Be nice to see Green get stopped in front of his home fans, i wonder if they'll play "Land down under" after they pick him off the canvass atsch
Want green to win. just. a loss and he may retire again. Id see him get outclassed, outboxed, looking frustrated and slow, his face blown up like callaway vs big bob mirovic, but a couple lucky knockdowns get danny a dubious split decision.
