I've only seen Flores fight against Ding and was unimpressed, but I've read many times on here that he doesn't usually run all night like he did in that fight.

Maccarinelli has been dismissed as a journeyman (wrongly IMO) by some after being demolished by David Haye.

So does Big Mac make a meal out of Flores or does BJ blow out Enzo?

Would have sounded better if "Flores makes a meal out of Big Mac or Enzo blows out BJ" IMO[/quote]

    :good I stand corrected.

I agree, Big Mac should be too much for BJ to chew.

I thought Haye said that Flores is better than Mac, didn't he?

Flores would win, not quite as powerful, but has alot better overall skill. His defense and footwork is better, better hand speed, sharp jab, really a guy to look out for at Cruiser. His fight against Ding is nothing like he usually fights, but after watching Dings previous fights, I'm sure he made the decision to fight the way he did, so he doesnt end up at the recieving end of a vicious knockout. Why go toe to toe with a guy, that you could outbox and win by fighting on the outside and picking your man off on the way in with your jab?

I think Macca is very overrated, however, Flores would just run for 12 rounds and lose on points.

Flores never ran like he did against Ding, Flores is a very sound, well rounded fighter. I'm sure his team made the decision for him to fight like that, especially after seeing Dings most recent fights, one punch and Flores goes from good prospect to overhyped bum. I honestly thought the fight should of ended in a draw, but you must admit, Flores did look like the overall better fighter in the ring.

I've seen a few of Flores' other fights and never been particularly impressed.

For me many are overreacting to Macca's loss to Haye...Macca will come back strong from this and I think BJ is going to have to try and run again otherwise if Macca lands a big shot it will be goodnight vienna for BJ. (btw if my initials were BJ I wouldn't use them!!! :yikes )

Because if Flores was to run again he would be outed as a big girls blouse! And if he doesn't run and Macca tags him it will be, as I said, goodnight vienna. It is definately a fight i'd like to see but actually I don't think Team Calzaghe will put him in with Flores just yet. ;)
