How about a draw or a split decision that can go either way.

 

A close fight that could go either way, but I would have to favor Sweet Pea.

 

Floyd wouldn't be busy enough. Pernell had a better offense. More athletic, better fighter.

Pernell is a bit more gifted on the defense with more options and a much better offensive fighter.

 

h2h floyd is good enough to beat sweat pea. but the problem is that sweat pea was not afraid to let his hands go where as floyd has the tendency to just pick spots. if whitaker cranks it up floyd loses.

h2h in legacy, whitaker is above floyd.

PBF would win by UD. Pea would never hurt Floyd. PBF's defense is just as good as Pea's, just different styles. Pea used movement and athletic skills to make opponents miss. Floyd just covers up and moves at angles to deflect shots. PBF would catch Pea with some shots on the inside and Pea would have to come in to get PBF. Floyd's jab,if he uses it and he should will keep Pea off balance from the outside. In the end Floyd's size and strentgh inside would be the difference.

 

Didn't they spar when Floyd was a teenager? No footage of it though i believe, which is a shame, would love to see that ****.
