True, you can't fight all of the challengers, but you can fight all your mandatories and the best if you wanted to. Boxing, like all other sports should be about giving the best to the fans that watch and love the sport. Mayweather-Baldomir was a joke. That's like the New England Patriots getting to choose the Atlanta Falcons in the SuperBowl, beating them and thinking it was great. No one in the football world would think that was great, but in boxing today, its a different thing. In the boxing of the 70s, everyone would think its a joke.

Not a bad post. However, your NFL argument is flawed and incorrect. There have been plenty of underwhelming teams that have made it to the Super Bowl. However, if you want to be the Super Bowl champs, you have to beat the champions of the other conference. Hell, the Giants weren't considered that good of a team last year and the Patriots were supposed to steamroll them. We all saw how that turned out.

The same holds true for the Baldo/Mayweather fight. If Mayweather wanted to be the recognized champ, he had to beat the recognized champ. Baldomir will never be confused with a great fighter. However, he was still the recognized champ. And let's be real, that was a fight Floyd had to settle on. It wasn't one that was that high on his list.

That's fair, but everyone says how great Mayweather is for fighting and dominating in so many weights. But, they should ask themselves this question first. Did PBF clean everything out before moving? Early in his career he did, but not in a long while has he done it. He moves around in weights so he always has the opportunity to avoid someone. This is why he announces his retirement so much now. So he never has to fight a tough mandatory, and he can pick and choose who he wants to fight. If Mayweather would have knocked out Hoya, a guy that was made for him to knockout and make history since Hoya is not as good at following skilled fighters, I would have so much respect for him. But, he ran from Hoya and it was one of the most boring fights I've ever seen. I wasted $60. You know, I have read some people criticize Wlad for the way he has fought in his last two fights, and how boring the heavyweights. Some of these are from PBF fans! PBF fans should be loving Wlad right now.

Foreman was impossible too, but Ali did it. The style was in favor of Mayweather. No denying that. Hoya is great, and Mayweather is great. I'm just upset at both of those guys, that's all. It can be remedied though, if they put on great future fights.

So explain how DLH is made for Floyd to KO?...Mind you DLH has never been Ko'd to the chin but to the body by a ATG Middleweight. The fight was at 154 also and DLH does not have a glass jaw.
