I see it the same with Arguello vs. PBF at SFW. People say Alexis struggled with pure boxers but PBF was far more aggressive at the weight....I think Arguello eventually figures him out after rounds of looking ordinary and puts together a great combination to end it. No doubt Floyd has a very good chin (the few times he's been hit he's handled it well) but Arguello had possibly THE greatest (P4P) right hand of all time (behind Hearns) and had the accuracy to detonate it on Floyd's chin.

I think Floyd would win a H2H match-up even at a catchweight of 128 as he is still gonna be the bigger guy, thats why I asked simply who was better at these weights (126 & 130) because both are consensus top 3 all time in those weights & Sanchez is highly ranked p4p all time despite dying at 23.

If SS had kept on fighting & kept up that sort of form vs top fighters like he was already doing, especially if he managed to beat Arguello (not impossible) then I think he would be in almost every top 10 list, as it is, people usually have him top 30 - remarkable considering he died at 23.

I know who I'd rather watch FIGHT, No comp.
(I'd pop in a Chava fight anyday against any Mayweather Jr. Marathon)

    15 rounds yes.
    12 rounds no.

And that's not about whether or not PBF would tire out. He would have made a damn good 15 round fighter. But in this case we're giving Alexis an extra 3 rounds to figure Floyd out.

Sal had problems with movers. At 130, Floyd wasn't just a mover. Floyd had everything. Sal went life-and-death with a guys that were not top tier fighters. I don't think he could touch Floyd.

I stayed out of this one because of my obvious bias, but that statement is just incorrect. Azumah Nelson, Wilfredo Gomez, Danny Lopez, Ruben Castillo, Juan Laporte. Cowdell and Ford were relatively close fights but Sanchez was always in control.
