Floyd a ''runner''? Then u better go watch UFC or K1 because this is Boxing.

If Floyd let his hands go more he would be so much better. He is just a bit too much safty first on occasion.

 

That's exactly my problem with him. Brilliant in defence, no doubt, but his fights can be unexciting to say the least. This is why I prefer watching someone like Calzaghe, skill-wise he is on a similar level to Floyd but a more complete all-round package who brings more excitement because he isn't afraid to get in the trenches and slug it out. Floyd would be untouchable if he went hunting for his opponent instead of fighting so defensively. I know, I know... this is boxing, it's about not getting hit, but you gotta admit it can become boring.

Floyd is a runner, no doubt about it, but that's his style and it wins fights.

 

HE would be much better than undefeated?
He's undefeated, filthy rich, and he has not been damaged in the ring.
How do you get much better than that?

 

I like the blood and guts wars, but only when theres real skill involved.
Other than that if I want to see two guys swinging until one falls UFC is much better for that.
THe only reason I prefer boxing over any other combat sport is the technical skill, and the way different styles clash, and the way skill can make one style work over the other.
To me there's nothing better in any sport than when two guys come in knowing what the other is gonna try to do, and knowing what they have to do to stop it,
And one proves to be a better practitioner of the sport.

Glen and Nicky have got poor Tony dead and buried already, thankfully Conteh(a real fighter) is there to support our guy.

Tony is a tough nights work for anyone and being discredited by his own ****rymen (pun intended) is not fair.
