C'mon son, you don't know who Ed Lover is?

Pac's camp dropping the lawsuit if they agree to fight goes without saying. Your trying to act like Mayweather is being unreasonable by asking for his lawsuit to drop.

There should be nothing or very little to negotiate. They all parameters were agreed to in the past. All they needed to do was reschedule the date. Mayweather did that by booking the best date of the yr.

May 5th, MGM Grand, 147 Weight limit, 10mil pd weight penalty, Full random blood testing, 8 ounce gloves, 50-50 purse split.

if Floyd will not talk now and the fight has not taken place in years, it is not worth talking about anymore. It is not going to happen, and if it does Floyd wants Pacman so washed up that it will not be a legit win. Floyd really thinks he can become a great fighter by fighting washed up fighters? People know the difference.

Anyone who knows about Civil Law knows that the defamation suit is rubbish.

Pac simply cannot meet the burden, and everyone knows it. That is why Floyd wants him to drop it and move on. It's senseless and will accomplish nothing.

Bob Arum is a very sad man. Lying non stop. I agree with Schaefer who says Arum is doing this to make JMM accept a 4th Pacquiao fight on Arum's terms.

Floyd has drawn a line in the sand and won't talk until his condition is met. If Floyd won't even start talks then WTF are you on about? Lots has changed since the first set of negotiations. Floyd has said he won't agree to 50/50. Keep up.

So why not just roll it into negotiations? He won't have to give anything up for it other than maybe a terse, insincere apology. That is the only thing left to debate here. Maybe Manny just wants an apology? Did we ever here what the settlement terms were for GB, Oscar, Shaefer?

Your the one spinning it to saying he doesn't want to "fight" which is why you are accusing him of contradicting himself.

You are taking to much from a quote which you don't have enough details on to make a definitive opinion on it. Koncz comes to Mayweather's gym without any notice of a meeting set up before hand. Arum could have easily called Haymon told Haymon or Ellerbie that he is sending one of his reps down to the Mayweather Gym to negotiate this way they can set up proper arrangements for the meeting. Nobody knows what was really talked about since there is conflicting stories coming from all sides.

So now after coming to the gym with no prior notice he comes to tell Mayweather that he has investors and they want to cut out GBP. Now Mayweather is supposed to accept all that on that spot. For all we know he may have thought that the guy was full of **** and told him anything to make him leave. There isn't enough details.

Besides there is nothing to negotiate all the parameters have been laid out all they should need to do is form a contract with the parameters on it and sent it to each others lawyers to review and make the fight happen. Arum adding investors and trying to cut out GBP is a road block.

Now if Arum accepted the original terms with blood testing and looked to make the fight. Then after that Mayweather then ignored that all and claimed that he won't look at the contract until the the lawsuit is dropped you would have a better case even though that would still be reasonable.

The *****s are somewhat slow today. This thread is still only six pages long. Interesting to see the different angles the try, though.

I would have to believe if Floyd's lawyer's believe the court case is weak he would enter into negotiations and make it go away if he really wanted this fight to happen. By continuing his allegations and racist remarks Mayweather has pretty much made sure Pac won't drop the lawsuit as a precondition. There is no guarantee that dropping the law suit will make the fight happen so why should Pac drop it?

You ignore that Arum turned down the fight by the retired judge through email first and foremost. Now Mayweather has to cut out GBP and agree to deal with investors in order to make the fight.

Oh yea and I would like a recent link backing up Mayweather claiming he wants more then 50-50 split or no fight.
