    Ok genius.

When did he suddenly gain this massive power that later disappeared?

Maidana and Margarito fight nothing alike outside of coming forward.

Mayweather was a past prime part time fighter against Maidana. Against Margarito he would have been a completely different Mayweather.

Margarito is slower and throws different types of punches and applies less dynamic pressure than Maidana, and is much easier for someone like Floyd to keep in check.

Honestly... it baffles me how someone can watch a slower, shorter and less skilled Cotto box circles around Margarito for 6 rounds until he starts to gas, and not realize Mayweather would do a similar schooling, only... not gas. Im sure Margaritos pressure would eventually make its presence felt late in the fight but by then it would be too late.

Bringing up Maidana when Mayweather was what... 37 and half retired already and whose punches and pressure is nothing like Margaritos is just, irrelevant.

Just because it was a fight that was publicly viewed beforehand as what should have been an easy win, that in reality wound up being a very tough fight, doesnt automatically make it exceptionally relevant for every matchup of Floyd against a pressure fighter.

He is a defensive counter puncher, but this matured version of Canelo would never have waited on him like that.

He could have pressured him a lot more.

Oscar was never a pressure fighter, but he pressed Floyd when he went to the ropes and when he was in the corners, where he let his hands go.

    And?

Floyd was fully hydrated at the weigh in.

If Floyd dehydrated like Canelo did, he would have been fighting at Lightweight.

Its still a 15lbs of muscle difference.

When both were fully hydrated, there was 15 lbs of difference. What else could it be other than muscle?

Jlc never beat pbf. Pbf was injured going into that fight and by the mid rounds was complaining to his corner about his shoulder. He was also outweighed by jlc by almost 20 pounds on fight night. A healthy pbf in the rematch beat him going away.
Oscar and margo fight nothing alike one is a boxer puncher with a great jab excellent handspeed and combo puncher the other is not

Maidana fights nothing like margo. Maidana is a slugger he thows a looping overhand right is awkward fights dirty on the inside who can counter margo can't and pbf beat maidana 2x.

Pbf has beaten much better fighters than margo. Mosely oscar cotto pac canelo hatton jmm hernandez chico zab gatti Guerrero maidana and jlc all better than margo. Pbf gives that mummy a boxing lesson and there's nothing to suggest otherwise but wishful thinking and hate.

Watch the first few minutes of those fights and the fight night weights appear.

One or two, I got from articles.

Ricky Hatton started his career as an 18 year old at 140. and never fought below that weight.

Floyd started his career as a 19 year old at 131, and fought at 130/135 for 7 years.

Saying Hatton was a naturally bigger man is hardly unreasoanble.

And also has to have an asterisk to it with a footnote of the hand wrap controversy.

Floyd wasn't fully rehydrated at the weigh-in.

He gained a few pounds after.

They both look ripped at the weigh-in.

    Floyd was 150.5

    Canelo was 152

    Canelo rehydrated by 13 pounds.

    It was food and fluids.

Regarding your weights, you cannot seriously claim that Floyd was physically smaller than Ricky Hatton.

    No, he didn't.
He weighed 150 on fight night.

Canelo was ripped in the ring at 165.

Also, why can't I seriously claim that a guy who spent the majority of his career fights at 130/135, is smaller than a guy who never weighed below 140?

No, no it doesn't. Margarito has an incredibly

Sergio Martinez. Martinez had only had 17 fights! Guy was a baby, fighting 12lbs below his natural weight. Martinez's best years were around 2010... 10 years later.

I think this would of been an amazing fight. I don’t think Margo would have dominated PBF but it would have been a damn good fire fight
