    Prime Young Sergio?
His first fight outside of Argentina at 23 years old. Yeah it was a good win for Margarito, they were both young, inexperienced guys but Sergio improved a hell of a lot more than Margo did. Neither were prime. Sergio credits that fight for reinventing himself. Wladimir Klitschko also has a few knockout losses in his early career against guys that aren't considered to be in the same league as him.

He pressed pbf against the ropes but how effective was he? What punch did he land of note there? Pbf countered oscar hard while he was on the ropes almost dropping him and make oscar grab him in round 4 or 5 of that fight. Pbf likes to fight against the ropes and sets traps there getting guys to expend energy or by setting up a good clean counter.

I really don't know how canelo would press a guy who's not going to be there to be hit. He could press GGG because he was there to be hit despite having a respectable guard. Pbf would move if canelo came right at him. We will see how canelo deals with a guy like bjs who uses movement and see how canelo deals with him which will be interesting. Lastly pressing requires more energy and canelo doesn't have the best gas tank. He has to fight in spurts for a reason.

This objectively bollocks and you know it. IF JLC won that fight, it's by a point or two. Floyd was injured and 20lbs out-weighed, people read wayyyyy too much into this fight.

Floyd spent the first ten years of his career below 147. The next TEN fighting there and above that. Hey, did you know at one point in life, Floyd weighted only 100 pounds? Lets call him a former 100#er from now on.

You keep telling that to yourself and one day you just might convince yourself.

He said the majority of his fights, not years. Floyd could've made 135/140 for the rest of his career but who would he have fought? His CV would have looked like Golovkin's.

Was he a full grown man, winning world titles when he was 100 lbs?

If not, stop saying moronic things.

I know what he said. But no, Floyd could NOT have stayed there for the rest of his career. He couldn't even make 144 for JMM.

You are trying to lay claim on how tiny he was. Give that a rest, maybe I'll do the same as you.

Nobody is disputing this. But when they fought they were fully matured men.

You cannot say that Floyd was physically smaller on the night just due to a 4 pound difference in weight.

Floyd was slightly taller, and he had a 7" reach advantage with significantly longer arms.

If you want to say that Floyd was lighter, that's fine.

The original poster which you replied to stated that although Floyd often weighed less than his opponents, he wasn't outsized and physically smaller than what they were. And he was right. That was a fair comment.

Again, whilst I respect that there's only weight divisions in boxing, you cannot argue against that posters point, just by listing their weights.

Physically = Entire size and measurements, not just purely weight.

Ricky Hatton was not physically bigger than Floyd was when they fought in 2007.

    Im making a rational point.

You're claiming that because he was a child once, that my argument is invalid.

Who should give it a rest.

Floyd spent the first 7 years of his professional boxing career fighting at 130/135.

Ricky Hatton literally never fought below LWW, even as a teenager.

He didn't weigh 150 on fight night in the ring.

He weighed 150.5 on the scales for the weigh-in.
