If they'd fought when they should have done Tony would have laughed at Floyd's dancing & running walked straight through him & beat the **** out of him. Alt? Nah. This is my first account. You do seem to be infatuated with a proven cheat though. You're OK with the damage Cotto took in their first fight? Cotto destroying that cheating POS in the rematch made me a big Cotto fan. He earned a lot of respect. Sometimes I'll wake the wife up in the middle of the night just so we can both witness the sheer terror in his eyes when he realises that he couldn't do anything without that plaster. It's a cornerstone of our marriage.

 

Yet you cry about weeks in kovalev-ward 2 saying he let ward foul and rough up kovalev yet you think he did a great job in pbf-maidana 1 whej he let maidana foul and rough up pbf. the difference is pbf fought back and won and kovalev basically quit. You also cried about the ref in the pac-horn fight saying he let horn rough pac up. So which one is it? You only like it when the fighter you like is being protected by the ref or is getting away with murder by the ref you have no credibility and have been exposed.

I agree. He was the A side, as he would put it. He had earned super star status, hadmuch more control over his career and could dictate who and when he fought. I get that every fight the fans want cant always be made, given the politics and powers involved. I'm not necessarily blaming floyd for missing those fights. I would have loved to see them though, in a perfect world.

 

Yeah right Alt Cotto couldnt legitimately beat him in the rematch when Tony only had one good eye from round 2. It looked like DejaVu when Cotto started to wilt & Tony was beating his chest. Only then did that crooked doc step in & stop the fight . Not to save Tony's eye but to save Cotto from quitting AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

It's all speculation is my point. It's funny because I don't think that losing a UD to Floyd actually diminishes Pac's legacy much, he's still a great offensive fighter and I've enjoyed watching him for years on end. Shame it didn't happen sooner.
