    I think 12-0 is a gross exaggeration.

Marg would have had zero respect for Floyd's power, and we don't know what mindset Floyd would have been in.

We can't just assume that he'd have been full of confidence and put in a Gatti type performance.

    He may have fought defensively.

    We don't know.

    I've never said that.

    Stop being so defensive.

Bad style match-up for Floyd; a big pressure fighter with a granite chin. Mayweather was low volume (although accurate as hell). Margarito would throw more and probably land more while Mayweather's shots would look much cleaner. It was definitely a fight Mayweather could have lost.

The Canelo fight was arguably in the 10-2 to 12-0 range, depending on how you score the fight.

Couldn't be a better match up for PBF A wide open plodder slow of hand and foot with no jab orthodox who comes forward. Against a sharpshooter with an extreme reflex and speed advantage countering great stamina chin and defense. He was also a slow starter PBF would shut this guy out by sticking and moving and haters would say he ran but in reality it would be another boxing clinic.

    No, no, no.

With Manny, there was zero evidence.

    Nothing.

    Just hearsay from Snr.

Regarding Floyd, you want us to believe that he was so severely dehydrated, that he needed a 750ml IV of saline?

First off, how could he have been severely dehydrated?

    It's a very simple question.

He did not have to dehydrate to make weight.

He lives the life like Marvin Hagler and Bernard Hopkins used to.

His walking around weight was only slightly above his fighting weight.

He was only 3.5 pounds out at the 30 day weigh-in.

On fight week everything is done.

    They're winding down.

    So again:

    Severely dehydrated from what??

    Tell us.

Instead of taking on board normal fluids, he had an IV, which was:

    1. Classed as a medical emergency, that should have resulted in admittance to a hospital.

    2. Was banned by WADA.

I don't care that he was cleared by Bob Bennett etc.

If that had been Manny Pacquiao, you'd have had a breakdown.

I think it's reasonable for me to have wanted a guy who claims he is the best ever to fight two guys in his division. I'm not disagreeing with you that floyd was a great fighter - I just wanted to see him challenged against two big rangy welterweights with exceptional workrates. Just my two cents

If you read the post again, I acknowledge that the Mayweather who fought Maidana wouldn't have been quite so dominant, I can see that as more of an 8-4, 9-3 kind of fight with Mayweather giving up a few early rounds.

    It wasn't dangerous to me.

Ricky couldn't get inside and it was at WW.

Fighting the likes of Oscar was much more difficult for him.

I think it would have been harder than you imagine.

I would liked to have seen it.

He took an IV because he couldn't produce a urine sample and was dehydrated. You can be dehydrated and not dying of thirst it happens. I wouldn't care if it was Pac and he was cleared. Lastly there is n o PED that you can take a day before a fight that gives you any benefit. Pac and Arum didn't complain. Why because they already know this.
