Floyd and Canelo will fight in Sept if Floyd beats Guerrero

    If he did not plan on fighting at 154 again he would have immediately dropped the WBA belt like he did the WBC when he beat Oscar. Thats his money fight and its very easy to make,both moved to Showtime,both deal with Goldenboy. They even have the "ITS PERSONAL SPIN" to it with the back and forth earlier this year. Canelo has been built into a star and would do nice numbers with Floyd. Bump this thread and watch what i say,this fight will happen in September

    If it's true that SHO really needs over 1 million buys just to break even with the Guerrero fight, they're either going to Demand - or Beg - Floyd to choose Alvarez as an opponent depending on what kind of influence they left themselves concerning his fights when they constructed his deal. That is the only huge fight there, and nothing else comes close.

    From all the clips I seen, and his last fight, his damn good and big.

    I hope so I really want to see that fight because really who is there next after Guerrero maybe Garcia if he beats zab or very unlikely to no chance of happening Bradley if he gets by Marquez so we need this fight.

    well the Guerrero fight hasnt even happened yet so we dont know what they will need yet

    When he dropped the belt for Oscar he had to choose between wbc at LMW or wbc at WW so it's a different scenario.

    I look forward to seeing this play out though.

    Yes Canelo has improved every fight and seems very discipline,should have a damn good career

    I just dont see any other reason he is holding on to that belt at 154 other then a Canelo fight

    Didn't we get told the so called names in the 6 fight deal for show an wasn't ANGULO on that list could keep the belt so a fight with him would be for a title but I hope your right.

    if the fight happens, floyd haters would be confused as hell. THey have been calling canelo a bum to floyd is too scare to fight.

    Floyd will NEVER fight Canelo, forget it, not happening. Floyd hasnt took a fight he could genuinly lose for years, if u think in the final stages of his career, when he knows he's slowing down, he's gonna fight a young undefeated champ, who will likely come in 20lbs heavier than floyd on fight night then your crazy. fight is not happening, it'll be berto or devon in september, then khan in may

    am more of a Pac fan but every one should give Floyd the credit he dreserves if this fight gets made canelo is a big strong hungry young fighter so i am not sure how anyone could have anything bad to say about this fight
