Yep, Floyd's a gym rat year-round. Probably the only thing I respect about him outside the ring. Besides his charity, assuming that's not entirely for publicity..

Being in the gym every week of the year somewhat makes me wonder how those three months in jail affected him. It also gives a bit more (convenient) legitimacy for fighting Robert, on which my opinion is of neither extreme as I think it's just an okay-ish match up. Of course, that goes with him fighting someone better next (or retires, if he looks like **** this time)...otherwise, his career standing will just further deteriorate in my view.

I have to agree with all this. Floyd has great skills and is undeniably one of the greatest prepared athletes on the planet. Put him in anther era, and he'd be fine.

Of course, he couldn't cherry pick as much in those days.....

Because its bad for you ,, dehydrating is bad on your body ,, jacking your body weight up 20 to 30 pounds between fights make a fighter old..

The reason so many of the old time fighter were able to fight so often is because they maintained their fighting weight.
Unlike todays fighters who blow up 20 to 30 pound between fights.
