Gatti - Won next fight and then lost to Baldomir and Gomez
Mitchell - Won next fight then lost to Williams
Judah - Next fight was a no contest against a bum and then lost against Cotto
Baldomir - Lost next fight to Vernon Forest
DLH - Won tune up fight against Forbes then got obliterated by Pac
Hatton - Won next 2 fights against C level and then obliterated by Pac
Marquez - Went on to win his next 3 before losing a close decision to Pac, then going onto beating him in a rematch.
Mosley - Drew next fight against Mora  and then completely dominated by Pac
Ortiz - Next fight he retired against Lopez
Cotto - Next fight he lost to Trout

Marquez is the only credible opponent from this list and even this (as we know) was far from a level playing field when he fought Mayweather.

Refresher from Wiki regarding the controversy at the weigh in:

'Because Marquez had never before fought above 135 lbs and had fought at 130 lbs as recently as March 2008, while Mayweather had campaigned at 147 lbs since 2005, the fight was scheduled to take place at a catchweight of 144 lbsto account for the size disparity between the two fighters. The fight was originally scheduled for July 18, 2009 at the MGM Grand arena but was postponed due to a rib injury sustained by Mayweather. The bout was rescheduled for September 19, 2009. During the official weigh in for their 144 lb bout, Marquez weighed in at 142 lbs and Mayweather weighed in at 146 lbs thereby incurring a financial penalty ($300,000 for each pound over 144 lbs) as he was 2 pounds over the catchweight. It was later revealed that the contract was changed a few days prior to the weigh in so that Mayweather would be allowed to weigh up to the welterweight limit of 147 lbs while avoiding paying an additional fine to the, in addition to the fine he agreed to pay to Marquez.'

So to conclude what the majority already know; Almost every fight that Floyd has had in the best part of 10 years has been against either prematurely hyped fighters or established fighters in decline (Guererro slots nicely into the first bracket).

I'm not a Floyd hater or have any type of agenda such as being a huge Pac fan. I'm simply trying to paint the true depiction of what Floyd has been up to in the last 8 years. For someone of Floyd's ability, as a boxing fan I find it extremely insulting that he continues to try and pull the wool over the boxing fan's eyes and does still largely succeed with these tactics on the casual fan (which largely makes up the ridiculously biased Floyd fans on here).

This type of **** has been going on long enough in boxing, but in my opinion Floyd is the greatest at exploiting the tainted sport of boxing despite being gifted with special ability.

Probably feeding the the troll here but how about you state what each fighters was doing going into the fight then compare that to what other rated fighters were doing and see how they stack up

Im nt sure what to say bro...

Ever since he became champion he always takes on ranked fighters coming off big wins... What happends afterthey lost to floyd i dont feel factors in that much

Margarito is often brought up as an opponent floyd dodged but imagine he faced marg.. As soon as the plaster came out he would recieve no credit

The facts and timelines have been posted here many times and debated ... But u cant refute facts... Floyds resume is about as good as it possibly could have been

Its helerious when people suggest floyd dodged prime dlh and mosley yet before he was a huge ppv star and cash cow he was chasing them calling them out in post fight interviews

    But they dodged him..

Honest to god.. The only thing his resume is missing is pacquiao but there is so much evidence on both sides that suggest they both ducked eachother

If they had a bad record going into these fights, then Floyd wouldn't of bothered taking them up. It's all about deception. And Floyd is the master at picking fighters that have a very good record on paper, but are actually there to be beaten.

Everyone knows in boxing that promoters build up their fighters against weak opponents or that are stylistically a good fit, before throwing them in against the elite.

I'm not going to waste more time trying to explain to people that don't wanna hear it, but at a glance, Mosley is the only one (with the exception of Marquez for reasons mentioned) who fought Floyd off the back of a big win. And even still, Mosley hadn't fought for a year and four months prior to this. Looking further in, a 38-39 year old not fighting for a year and a half is quite a big deal.

For the record, there is absolutely nothing to suggest I'm trolling.

    These are the facts -

Cotto - WBA Light Middleweight World Champ

Ortiz - WBC Welterweight World Champion

Mosley - P4P 3, number 1 ranked Welter, WBA World Champ

Hatton - WBA, IBF, IBO, Ring World Champ at 140. WBA World Champ at 147.

Marquez - P4P 3 (Since proven top fighter at weight)

De La Hoya - WBC Light Middleweight World Champ

Baldomir - Unified champ and number 1 in division

Zab Judah - IBF World Champion (When fight was signed Zab was unified & ring champ, lost belts because of tune up to Baldomir)

Mitchell - On a 8 match win streak and Interim IBF World Champ

Gatti - On a 5 match win streak and WBC World Champ

Gatti- had a victory over former SFW champ Jesse Leija

Mitchell- had lost by knockout to Tszyu

    Judah- had lost to Baldomir

Baldomir- coming off win of Judah and Gatti

Dlh- won controversial decision against Sturm. Lost to Hopkins. Had beat Mayorga.

Hatton- his only fight at WW he looked less then spectacular against Collazo

Mosley- had lost to Winky, Cotto, and looked about done against Mayorga. Had a victory over Mayorga.

Ortiz- do I even need to get into this?

    Cotto- same as above

I still don't see why people argue Margarito over Baldomir in a p4p sense Baldomir is over Margarito: Margarito's best win is Cotto due to the hand wrap thing its an * next to it Baldomir's is Judah when he was Lineal Champ after that both of there resumes is thin if you look strictly at fighters faced
    Baldomir Margarito
    Mayweather>Pacquiao
    Forrest>Mosley
    Gatti<Willaims
    Alvarez>Cintron
    Rubio>Clottey
add into that Margarito spent his whole career at WW fighting guys he out weighed by 20+ lbs while Baldomir went as high as 168 and it's a landslide to me

Floyd's not paying you, so why do you go out of your way to manipulate the true nature of the fighters he faced?

Every single one of the opposition (barring Marquez) you listed can be discredited easily with a little bit of research. The worst part is, you already know this.

When it's all said and done, Floyd won't be there to tuck you in at night no matter how much you wish for this. So, why the bias?

    I genuinely don't get it.

That is the true nature moron.

    The discrediting is opinion.

    What ive posted is fact.

Hate on the guy all you want, he ducked pacquiao, he ducked margarito ect...

    but his resume is exceptional.

To say otherwise is either trolling or pure stupidity.
