With sports once people make there opinion its hard to change what they think but from my perspective I look at it like this: 140 two champs wanted to fight him tyzu and gatti, Gatti got beat and Tyzu got beat by a guy that flat out ducked afterwards.

Hatton and Cotto both on different occasion said they were scared of that fight Hatton grew balls first and Cotto as recently as last year said again his team didn't want it and he wasn't ready.

Mosley and De La Hoya ducked for years, Margarito basically lost every time he was on the brink Williams even though his resume doesn't deserve the hype he gets was a duck but considering that the second he started fighting guys his size he was exposed as a hype job I don't hold it against him. Pacquiao drug test cut stadium 50/50 take your pick.

Gatti- had a victory over former SFW champ Jesse Leija

Mitchell- had lost by knockout to Tszyu

    Judah- had lost to Baldomir

Baldomir- coming off win of Judah and Gatti

Dlh- won controversial decision against Sturm. Lost to Hopkins. Had beat Mayorga.

Hatton- his only fight at WW he looked less then spectacular against Collazo

Mosley- had lost to Winky, Cotto, and looked about done against Mayorga. Had a victory over Mayorga.

Ortiz- do I even need to get into this?

    Cotto- same as above

I agree that Floyd hasn't been fighting the best, BUT I do believe that he is the best

You could do the same thing with poochiaquo

Marquez- Knocked Pac the **** out, after getting robbed in fight 3.

    Mosley- Lost to Canelo

    Margarito- Got stopped by Cotto

    Clottey- Hasn't fought since.

    Hatton- stopped by sechenko

These guys didn't exactly light the world on fire after fighting Pac either.

  7. any fighter's resume can be criticized. the fact of the matter is, his record is very good, if not great. he's faced very solid competition. he's never lost a fight. never. that right there is all you need to know. cotto, mosley, de la hoya, hatton, marquez, gatti, corrales, ortiz and every other single fighter he has ever faced came to win and they just couldn't do it. floyd's in a league of his own.

Fighters under performs after recieved their biggest payday is not uncommon. You go fighting the world's best to just another fighter. 90% of the time they will lose interest.

All in all it is still better than what pac did who fights guys coming off brutal beatings.:deal

What a great factual and accurate post !! Maybe the fact that you put this in print, so EVERYONE should be able to comprehend it. It will open the eyes of people who are blinded by PBF B.S. !

Floyd Mayweather ruins fighters. They are not the same after he gives them a beating

Floyd's a clever cherry picker. He picks guys comign off wins or have a belt, but they're eitehr a) c / b level / outmatched to begin with (Ortiz, Guerrero) b ) smaller (Marquez) c) been on the decline (cotto, mosley, oscar)

    Here are some real facts:

Floyd has been a WW since 2005 - during that time he somehow failed to fight a prime, undefeated Cotto, Mosley when he younger / fresher, Margarito, Paul Williams, Manny Pacquiao, and some other top WW.

    More facts :

He retired for 2 years in the prime of his career while the WW divison was red hot , took non-stop vacations, and fought once a year if that - all the while failing to make the biggest fight in boxing against Pacquiao.

Floyd fans are good at spitting numbers, but unfortunately in boxing numbers don't always tell the truth.
