This issue has been causing a frenzy of activity in the General over the past 24 hours, so here's a poll so we can see what y'all think

Size only matters if you have the style to make it matter and Floyds style is not that, he is a defensive minded fighter who does not like to fight a rough fight. So if the two fight no it will not come down to size it will come down to speed and power in the end.

Mayweather is more proven at these weights...but Manny has certainly proven himself now aswell.

I wouldnt say that, Mannys last two fights were against Floyds last two opponents and from my eyes I would have to say Manny is more proven based on the fact that neither of these fights were even close in fact Manny hasnt lost a single round to neither DLH or Hatton, Floyd got a SD with Oscar, and was forced to find another way to beat Hatton.

significantly bigger. just look at the height, reach and their build. pac of today could still make 135 if he needs to judging from the 138 he weigh easily against hatton. floyd would be having difficulty weighing at 140 now that's why they chose to fight jmm at 144.

Floyd has pretty much forged out a career at these weights. Whilst Pac has had like 3 fights.

Clearly Floyd fought a better version of Oscar...as for Hatton..I never thought that highly of him to tell you the truth and really Floyd stopped him pretty brutally aswell...even if it took longer.

Id take any of Floyd's opponants at lightweight over Diaz..who was god awful and just scrapped by a well and truly finished Morales.

Floyd is more proven with the extra weight on...I think thats pretty evident.

But note that Im not saying Pac isnt proven or isnt looking great here...He is in his prime..but Floyd is clearly the more proven at these higher weights.

floyd is significantly bigger but not heavier..

i think floyd purposely doesn't gain a lot of weight to maintain his quickness and speed, sadly he's using his quickness often by avoiding to be hit and his speed to run..
