floyd and may - the best, yet dont drain down?

    every fighter drops weight to make their weigh in limit both the top 2 fighters of our generation are no exception, except they drop MINIMAL amounts of weight compared to the 95%+ or other fighters

    coincidence? there are a few other elite level fighters that dont drain down that much at all such as rigo

    is weight draining to the extent the vast majority are doing causing negative effects on their performance ?

    They were both still excellent fighters when they were fighting at lower weights though.

    I think it is probably best to only drop down a small amount of weight (not sure of an exact % and it probably varies from person to person). Trying to drop a lot of weight probably compromises training, energy in the fight and career longevity. Don't drop any weight and you could be at a large size disadvantage.
