I completely agree, these 2 guys are a disgrace to the sport, they are killing the sport that made them rich.... they want no part of each other, none at all.

This is dumb. Tim Bradley would be the best and most legit figher either guy has fought in years.
If Bradley does land this fight, then I think it makes him a shrewd businessman. He avoided risking a loss to a very talented, young p4p star and landed a fight against the biggest draw in the world that will pay millions more than Khan.

we usually disagree, but this is dead on for the most part. Floyd spent 10 years avoiding tough challenges, and Pac has copied that for about the last two. But if he fights Bradley, he will have broken the cycle and fought someone legit.
Calling Bradley a hype job is absolutely stupid.

I agree with everything.... except your point that it could be for more money, the interest in this fight has already peaked, its actually on the decline now because so many hardcore AND casual fans alike are sickened by the actions of the supposed top 2 p4p fighters in the sport, if these 2 guys do not face each other NEXT (after Pac-JMM obviously) then :-( that will be their legacy, the 2 that never fought each other, that will overshadow all their achievements when the greats of the past are being discussed & annalyzed... & rightly so.

It's really obvious. If Floyd and Manny fought, it would be the biggest gate in history, but then who would want to see them fight "young hungry lions" afterwards?

As it is now, both parties enjoy remaining a hot topic of debate, and interest in seeing them perform, even against less than stellar opposition, remains high.

Doesn't change the fact about both these guys avoiding each other then using the media to fool each set of fans and boxing fans in general into thinking one side is at fault.

Bradley is Greater than Ortiz period.

Best example. they both fought peterson. Bradley easilly beat him. Ortiz struggled massively.

Well, the prospect of a Mayweather-Khan came from the mouth of their promoter, Schaefer.

Pacquiao-Bradley is pure fan speculation from TR signing Bradley.

Still think it makes more financial sense for Arum to try to build Bradley up with the many great fights around 140-147 than to feed him to Pac where he'd get destroyed be worth much less afterwards.

They could otherwise make as much doing a retiring Cotto v Pac rematch, or push for Pac-Khan without a care about Pac turning him into minced meat being a rival promoters young star.

I agree that it would be better for the sport if both Mayweather and Pac **** off from the sport after this year if they don't agree to fight other in the ring.

Lol.....no. the difference is TIM is undefeated and Ortiz was sonned by papa Maidana. Which means so much to the fanatical fanboys who are labeled "*****s". Had Ortiz been a top rank fighter and Tim a golden boy fighter you boys would be all on the "Tim is undefeated" angle like Pac on rice.

By the way......I wasn't a fan of the Ortiz fight per say.....and am even less of one for this fight between Tim and Pac. Both were and will be hyped up mis matches.....but, we'll all buy because we love boxing at the end of the day... All the while we'll be mad as **** about dropping $70 on a sparring session.

    CRAB MENTALITY....

The term “crab mentality” is used to describe a kind of selfish, short-sighted thinking which runs along the lines of “if I can't have it, neither can you.”

    ====

if floyd is a cherrypicker, i might as well say pacquiao is cherrypicking too!
