None of this means that the actual tests aren't legit which is what you implied. We all know why he asked Pac to take the tests, he thinks Pac is on something. If there was a reliable testing system in place or if the sport didn't allow fighters to make their own rules(something Pac has done himself), This would never be an issue.

As it is, Mayweather has every right to ask for stringent drug testing. I don't think anyone anticpipated Pacquiao actually refusing the request when the knowledge of the testing became public. I definately don't think anyone anticipated Pacquiao turning down a 14 day window. None the less, he has turned down the requests and the fight will never happen unless one of them gives in. Pac's reasoning for not doing the testing is moronic. However, he still not agreeing which will continue to hold up the fight.

 

This may, and I say MAY, explain that PBF's reasons for requesting the tests are a charade. However, it in no way proves that the test themselves will be charades or fraudulent.

floyd's reason for the test is just a charade we all agree. about the nature of the test, there was no monitoring since they started training. how do we know that the organization that was conducting the test is doing it right or effectively? in the olympics, they are tested once they in the olympic village. how do we know that a video they would show in a 24/7 video is a real random test and not just for posterity? the commission has no implementing rules on this that's why it has no teeth and it could be regarded as a charade event.

i have no qualms with usada. the problem is this was implemented because of the request of the fighter and not the commission. we cannot have an effective system where the commission is being bypassed by a fighter and let him chose another independent entity who would conduct his drug test for him.
