i mentioned pacquiao because it was the fight where floyd demanded his request but if you will look at the essence of the post, i am talking about the floyd-mosley test.

What a farce. We all know Floyd does not care about this at all, he was forced to do it or made look a fool for doing vs Manny but not Mosley.

it's not as simple as that. what's the use of a more complex testing when the commission has no set rules to implement the results? if we just want the final result and do not care about the punitive side of it, then this is just for a show. do you guys really believe that floyd is out to clean the sport with this demand? if your answer is yes, then you are a bunch of naive fanboys.

Im just curious how are you so sure that this is a farce? Is there any possibility that the USADA is conducting legitimate testing? Is there any possibility that Mayweather is doing this because he wanted a clean fight?

I have a hard time believing that the USADA would put their name and reputation on the line and not carry out proper testing. I might believe that if the NSAC was in charge of the testing.

i dont care what the essence of the post is....or that you mentioned pacquiaos name because of this or that....you mentioned his name...then acted like i was totally out of nowhere when mentioning his name in this post...the bottom line is...you bring up the words "steroid testing" in a boxing forum...and pacs name is going to pop up....so why did you act so suprised when i brought up his name after you already did?

Of course it's as simple as that, you either think the USADA will do a competent job of enforcing olympic style random testing during this fight or you don't, so which is it?

The commission may not be authorizing the stronger testing but you can bet that they will be watching with a close eye, looking at how the system works and the practicality of bringing it in first hand.

Mayweather wanted stronger testing because he was suspicious of Pacquiao, Pac's actions since the testing was put forward would have made him even more sure he has something to hide and the reason he is carrying it on is to put pressure on Pac to take the test in the future.

I believe mayweather started out this whole random blood testing thing not knowing how far it would go, i think the main intention at the start was to show people that he was also making some demands and not being Pac's ***** in the negotiating as Pac was making all the demand from Mayweather and it was hurting his ego, but the way the whole thing played out it gave Mayweather very little choice but to insist on it, so he thought that offering Pac 14 days would be enough to put a stop to it but it wasn't so it went even further and he is now forced to have it in all of his future fights, including this one.
