What rule states that Floyd must pay 10 million per pound over weight?

The commission already has a weight penalty set in.

Um, because his life is on the line? You guys act like I am saying Pac could not have asked for anything extra.

I would have welcomed Pac making a case for this as a stipulation in the contract. He didn't though. He was fine with it. He was also fine with testing... at first.

He also added that silly $10 mill per pound BS and none of you even flinched. Neither did FMJ so Manny ran.

The drug is only mentioned by *******s. :yep

You probably don't know one other fighter that uses it, even though it is obviously used enough for the AC to deal with it. You just want to say, FMJ is less this or that because of it.

    You are a ****.

    I answered the foolish question.

Everyone keeps asking what discussion you are trying to start. You have no answer and throw attacks back. This is what I meant about you not being bright enough to disguise and articulate your hate.

If it was made illegal it would be illegal. Nobody but insiders even knew it existed until you *******s needed a cover for your boy running from drug testing.

Hey, lets ban Xylocaine as soon as Pac does the Olympic style drug testing and gets his ass spanked.

    The rules in California are:
    http://www.dca.ca.gov/csac/stats_regs/regulations.shtml#303

The administration or use of any drugs, alcohol or stimulants, or injections in any part of the body, either before or during a match, to or by any boxer is prohibited.
NOTE: Authority cited: Section 18611, Business and Professions Code. Reference: Sections 18640, Business and Professions Code.

    HISTORY:

    1. Change without regulatory effect of NOTE (Register 87, No. 5)

As B_H_S states, there's no that I've heard off that relate to using it at any time during camp.

But at the same time, to make calls about Manny putting in provisioning for Floyd going overweight does actually come from a precedent.

I don't understand how Manny is guilty of something for not agreeing to Floyd's tests, but Floyd is innocent when he cleary had no intention of making 145 for JMM...I guess inactions speak louder than actions now...

If that was the case then fine. The facts were though that the provision was in the FIRST contract that Arum presented to Manny. Had he declined that one? Fine. There would be no anger. It was after they saw the fight was imminent that they began to balk at testing. It is all there man. Clip after clip of contradiction. Until this day not even Manny's supporters can explain the rejection of a 14 day cut off.

Nobody has EVER asked for that much on a weight penalty.

what concerns me more is why have Floyd pay several mill for coming a pound above the weight limit but nothing for Clottey? Theres no justification for this, I dont think he wanted the fight.

Floyd and his fans should concern themselves with Floyds CREDIBILITY!

And for fans who think they don't need the *******......you sure bring him up a lot.

Part of that may have to do with Floyd not weighing 144 for Marquez, but they also had massive penalties for Morales being overweight (3rd fight) & Cotto and those guys don't have histories of missing weight and then paying their opponents for it.

Mayweather and Pacquiao's demands just seemed like each side trying to gain one up on each other and showing they could call the shots rather than vice versa. I'm not convinced either side really badly wanted it on March 13th (it couldn't be delayed to May/June because of Pac's political plans).

Because he realizes that it is a minnor inconvience, and is not worth losing the biggest fight of his career over. Unlike a certan unnamed boxer who trains in L.A. and is fighting in Dallas soon.

Why would Mosley complain about it?

Especially after his past involving PEDs. It'd look really bad if he complained about it and refused to take them.

Mosley's happy to get the big fight he's wanted since beating Margarito and is willing to submit himself to the extra inconvenience.
