    Classy move by Floyd.

Actually, the whole lead up to the Cotto fight and the fight itself, would have gained Floyd a lot of new fans, IMHO.

Google Electoral College and educate yourself on how Presidents are chosen in the US. Let me know if you don't understand after reading up on it. :good

After the fight, if you watched, Floyd came down and talked to Steward and Lampley. He commended HBO, said he apologized to Larry, said he wanted the fans and people to forgive him, and said they do a great job and keep up the good work. Lampley said it best "You're a brilliant public relations man, always have been."

Lampley knows Floyd is saying what's necessary to get back on the good side of everyone. Floyd pretty much said it himself in the statement I quoted above. Ponder that.

So Kevin Garnett's your favorite player? You don't mind having a ******* as your favorite basketball player?

I see you have another dillemma on your hands.

Classy move by Floyd may not have been appreciated by some of his fans as being classy is very un- G like.

When you make 32 million in one fight, its easy to admit your faults.

Honestly.... i dont think Mayweather needed to apologize at all for what he had said before - cuz it was the straight up ****ing truth. And i had hope Merchant was gonna get fired cuz he's such a biased ******* for the job he has. Floyd just called him out. If anyone had to do some apologizing, it was Merchant.

I'm gonna buy into the new Mayweather. Seems pretty sketchy and its like flipping the other side of the coin. BUT......... every man gets a chance to change and redeem himself. It just seemed a bit TOO MUCH though, like he was trying to hard. So either its truly an act to get himself out of a "public" rut, or he's seriously freed himself from all of insecurities and taking off all his armor out of the blue. I believe the former.

Then it's sad to hear it takes that amount for Floyd to admit he's wrong. Real men can do that without money.

Was there anything wrong with Merchant asking Floyd about the sucker punch? Should he have just conveniently forgotten what happened? What do you suggest Merchant should have done as an interviewer?

And why would Floyd try to change into a good guy when he and his fans claim that his bad image is what buys him great PPV numbers? Why change what works?

I was interpreting your post. But if you don't want to go into any more details, I'll let myself and others interpret for themselves.
