You list ANY great fighter, and there will be a particular fighter in their weight class who they didn't fight.

Fighting them ALL is tough, even for guys like Sugar Ray Robinson (who had over 200 fights and fought nearly every month).

Hernadez and Corrales, at the time Mayweather ate them for breakfast, were in the top 2 in the division.

Casa and Freitas weren't very well known back then; moreso after their unification fight in 2002 (in which Floyd had already left 130; and Casa "officially" lost to Freitas).

Floyd at 130 is THE, or one of THE, best of all time (at 130).

Chavez never unified @ 130, Arguello never did and never defeated the linear champ Serrano @ 130.

Despite having a richer history than most junior divisions, one can be considered one of the greatest ever @ 130 without having cleaned out the division.

It's kind of beside the point anyway since the topic is about head-to-head mythical matchups.

You can't fight all fighters. Mayweather defeated guys like Genaro Hernandez, Diego Corrales (who had a close trilogy with Casa and destroyed Freitas) and Jesus Chavez.

Casamayor became major figure at 130 in 2001, when Mayweather was already leaving. Before he had not beaten anybody.

By the time Freitas and Casa fought, Mayweather was already signed to fight Jose Luis Castillo... at lightweight.

Before then, the only guys that got mentioned at 130 were Mayweather and Corrales (probably even moreso Corrales). Of course a WBA champ would be known to boxing fans, but even to DIE HARD boxing fans, Diego Corrales was the fighter to beat at the time. And after he demolished him, he even took the scalps of Jesus Chavez and Carlos Hernadez before moving up. Not too bad at all.

And when Casa finally got his test, he failed (although I though he won). No way he was getting a Mayweather fight after the Freitas loss.

So yeah, don't really see the point of your post.

But I'll take some free money! How the hell is that a *****??? :huh

EDIT: And you did quote from me a part where I said "list any particular fighter and there will be a fighter they didn't beat, even the likes of Sugar Ray Robinson". And its true. SRR did NOT fight all the best fighters in his weight classes.

This is the reason PBF doesnt allow filming at sparring sessions anymore, Spadfora owns him although you obviously can't tell what would happen if they were to carry on. Also it can be because PBF is out of shape, he's said himself he's always in shape.

Whats up 99 to 2002?:D Yes SRL and SRR did fight the best at 47. They are the #1 and #2 ATG WW's for a REASON.

Casa failed by winning because he wasnt getting a shot at Mayweather? :huh :huh :huh

    :rofl

    Oh. now i get you're point:nut

See the bold and TRY AGAIN:yep

He's undeniably skilled but is playing the marketing GAME too much. At one point you must lay it down as the real ATG's have, ESPECIALLY WHEN TALKING FIRST PLACE:good

He's avoided guys at each weight and has yet to defend against a real WW. 47 is loaded and that doesnt include DLh:nono Clearly Cotto is #1 and has a better 47 resume:cool:

MAKE THE ****ING FIGHT, as floyd says:D

    He aint no Pryor either:nono

    You tell by winning fights:yep

Spadafora was supposed to be PBF's ticket to 135, why else did they spar for?:D It went wrong and it took 3 and a half years, a shooting, and REHAB to get an OFFER:yep

    Uhhh, okay? Worked up, much?

Despite having an awesome 98, Floyd still had only JUST won the title and made his first defence. Still a relative up and comer. Granted, 99 and 00 weren't spectacular years for him (and yes, a fight against Casa during this period would make his resume better... but I'm not trying to say otherwise)... But in 01, in his FIRST real big fight, rather than choose the other titlists like Casa or Freitas (who sometimes are called "paper" champs; but remember, we're talking about perceptions IN the year 2001 here, not in hindsight [yes, I know Casa is 2-1 up on Corrales]) Floyd chose to fight the very BEST (other than himself) at his weight, in Corrales. After dismantling him in a masterful performance, he then beat two top contendors in Jesus Chavez and Carlos Hernandez, both of whom went on to become Super Featherweight champions AFTER Floyd beat them. Before going up to Lightweight to fight Castillo (officially BEFORE Casa-Freitas had fought)

Look, I know you have issues with Floyd, and some of your issues are VERY valid regarding his post LW years. But Floyd at 130 is a COMPLETELY diffrent story. He's easily a top 5 all time at the weight, probably at the higher end (and number 1 is not a ludacris ranking, in terms of H2H, at all)

Man you guys are forgetting that despite the fact Floyd stays in excellent shape, he freely admitted after at least one fight at 130 or on of his couple fights at 135 that he could no longer make the 130 lb limit.

Of course I have no doubt that if Floyd REALLY wanted to he could drain down to 130 for the entirety of his career, beating the big names of the late late 90s and early 2000s like Barrera, Morales, Pacquiao, Marquez, or maybe even pre-Barrera Hamed..

But despite people repeatedly saying that 130 lbs is where Floyd belongs, get real people!! Floyd himself admitted that he couldn't make the weight apparently!!

And Floyd has incteased so much in terms of skill (which is astounding considering how talented he was at 130!!) since he's moved up considerably... personally I think before Floyd's career ends for real we will once again see him at his aggressive best fighting really exciting action fights like he did at 130, or with the likes of N'Dou, Corley, C. Hernandez, Chavez, Judah, or just one sided beat downs like the Gatti fight!
