Am I the only one who doesn't think Snr will problem?

seems to me from wat I have seen of him that when it comes time to put the work in he's all business..

I get a feeling he wants to be in his sons life and wants the best for him just after all these years he doesn't know how to go about it.

Jnr is the one with the problem

If I'm Floyd, I'd have Roger on speed dial.

It's only a matter of time until Sr & Jr bump heads.

I don't care. The opponent has been chosen and they enjoy the little game of 'keep it in the news' and people play along.

OK. So it wasn't Jr just wanting to fsck with Curtis then. Thanks.

I'm not trying to downplay the learning process of Floyd with big Floyd or Roger or what Roger brought to the table after Floyd learned all his lessons, but this isn't likely making any difference with anything at this stage for him. This is a guy that makes adjustments mid-round, and has mastered his style and can pull another style out of his hat whenever he wants. The influence of a trainer is just not that important for him anymore. He could have Norman Stone in there, the professor or Ruiz's guy. It wouldn't matter much. I know, even little things matter at the top, but he's not got anyone around to make it an issue, right now, anyway.

I'd be surprised if they can get through one training camp without blowing up at each other. If they can make it to the fight night there shouldn't be any real problems, though. Mayweather doesn't even need instructions in the corner. All Roger says is 'jus box him, he ain't doing nothin', jus box him'.

Hope Roger's doing okay.. We'll see how this goes, as they both HAVE to be right... Should be entertaining while it lasts.

Hope Roger is doing OK with his health.

If they last an entire camp, FMJ is going to be in insane condition.

If what was said about Hatton's experience, Big Floyd is all about that conditioning.

As has been said in here, one of Roger's strongest "suits" when it comes to being with PBF is his ability to just stand back quietly and let little Floyd enjoy his time in the "lights".

Sr. has long been notorious for claiming any success is all because of him. That is one of the main sources of potential drama, IMO.

But, at this stage, maybe it will be a "come full circle" kind of deal and this will go really well.

    I hope :yep

A bit of a stretch. Roger is non confrontational and not a complete imbecile, that doesn't make him Phil Jackson.
