Here is the problem though. He hit Cotto with only 20% of his punches and he ****ed Cotto up! He might be slow and he might be crude. But at the core of this thing it's a fight! You are gonna get hit. The thing is those body shots are gonna hit something. Those left hooks are gonna hit something. I don't care if he blocks almost all of them he is still gonna be hurting. Margarito throws to hurt. He's not just doing the little pitty pat flash that DLH puts on to look good for the judges. He is throwing to hurt you.
ambition def.. do you see how slow margo is? and how wide his punches are? and how little defense he has? and how str8 he stalks? these are things you must consider but 20% of those punches cotto took were when he decided to trade wiht margarito.... it would be completely differnt with floyd margarito would need to be accurate because floyd is so much more evasive than margarito
Cotto and Margarito dont have good defence. Which means they wont be able to stop Mayweather from punching them about the head, neck, shoes, tooth, ear, and ankles. They would both lose IMO and lose badly. Potentially stopping both of them. Oh yeah and by the way... Mayweather is retired. I would like to talk about someone else as well. I dont see why Williams cant beat MArgarito again:deal
Naw. See here is the problem with all this "he can be outboxed" bull****. You absolutely can not easily outbox a man who doesn't respect you. It's impossible. Was Chris Byrd not a great boxer? Was Ali not a great boxer? What you have to ask yourself is how exactly you keep a man off of you that doesn't respect your power. What do you have to do. Williams didn't keep Margarito off of him. He and his big frame soaked up all of Margarito's damage to survive to the end. That is a fact. Mayweather cannot take the abuse Williams took.
Is PBF ducking Margo? Shane Mosley thinks so: [yt]<object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/EOSYzIKJFro&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/EOSYzIKJFro&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>[/yt] What a punk ***** Floyd is.
can you expand on this respect thing? i dont exactly understand it... i dont exactly understand what respect has to do with floyd making margarito miss
Hey, Floyd, you ready to meet Margo now? Is now the time? [YT]<object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/lbyQsaigxxU&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/lbyQsaigxxU&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>[/YT] Or did you retire because you know Margo would destroy Cotto and you didn't want you sorry ass called out again, and be shown to be running from Margo another time? LOL!!
Everybody is wondering why Floyd turned down 8 mill I knwo why because its easier to post on a thread how Floyd wins that actualy fighting
Sure. In boxing every fight comes down to respect. In that ring you have two guys who are fighting to gain the respect of their opponent. And usually when they do it is over. Some guys respect a guy so much that once they get in the ring it is a blowout. Most of the time though the guy across the ring from you is pretty certain he can beat you. Until you knock him around enough to where he respects you. Boxing is all about respect. Being elusive, or talented, or skilled is a way to build on that respect. But it isn't everything. In the end you still have to get your opponents respect to have an easy night. Mayweather got respect against opponents by hurting them or discouraging them to the point where they stopped the assault. Margarito is just not going to stop until someone discourages him from walking in. And he will just not stop throwing or attacking you until he is KO'd. Mayweather is not the one.
"You'll get your shot ... I never ducked or dodged anybody ... i'm making smart business decisions ... guess what? ... you can learn from this so he can make the same decisions ... and if I beat him down the line, it's gonna be bigger and better." Floyd Mayweather -- That doesn't sound like ducking to me ... that sounds like the making of a superfight.
