Came across Floyd-Maidana 2 last night, watched the last 5 or 6 rounds, and I swear, all it was was Floyd coming in, clinching, waiting for Uncle Kenny to break them, stepping back and then repeating the process 20 times a round. Using the old Hopkins follow the punch in to clinch move. I mean, talk about tedious. People at ringside looked like they were ready to fall asleep. A few back foot potshots here and there and you have another decision win. I imagine we can expect more of the same tonight. I think I'll pass

Maidana 2 was a major clinch fest. its on wlad mr. octopus level clinching! Floyd, why he is a great fighter, will always have an question mark now that the truth has come out. He also fought like 4 good healthy fighters his whole career and fights like a bi.tch. People say "you cant appreciate the sweet science" I say I'd rather go watch a track race. I watch boxing for the sport and the brutality mixed with skills. with floyd its just boring seriously.

Well if Floyd is so boring, predictable, and only clinches then what stopped Manny and 48 others from beating him? He weak, featherfisted, scared, etc...Beat him then!

We all know how Floyd fights and knew how he was going to fight. Everyone thought Pacquiao was the one that had the attributes to get to Floyd and force the fight. So in a since the hype was all on Pacquiao and the media did that. Floyd is right in that aspect.

how can we expect the old pac when the fight happened when they were past prime and only one was trying to make a fight while the other one was always on defensive mode and was allowed to hug at every possibility of fireworks? lol.

But you did expect Pac to Beat him, all your threads and posts pre May 2nd indicate that you believed Manny with his superior speed, power, etc...would beat Floyd. Post May 2nd you have been observed making a bunch of excuses, just like Manny

Yo. Lived on Ridge Ave with my sister for a few years back in the late 70's. Living the life in the burbs now. Of course I know Dalesandros. Haven't had one of them in years. My mom always insisted on them when we were having cheesesteaks

pac always tries to make a fight to show respect to the paying fans and give their money's worth while floyd is usually in a boring fight because he doesn't want to get hurt and always in defensive mode. floyd's opponents are the one's making his fight interesting but only if he allows them since he mastered defense to not get hurt and just pot shots to score like the amateurs and sadly the judges allowed this to happen to boxing.
