i think we are all looking forward to some kind of classic , when the reality is when has Floyd been in a classic?

This isnt a negative by the way , he is just that good.

But on this occasion, I see the fight just being plan ugly.

Floyd will get off first either with the left hook or straight right and both will fall into a clinch , and repeat.

I doubt either will be penalised as it will be kind of both their faults , but the busiest man in the ring on Saturday will be Kenny.

    I hope im wrong.

    peace.

    Sounds about right

I too think Mayweather will clinch a lot in this fight

And I highly doubt that Bayless will warn him

It should be refs like Michael Griffin that are willing to deduct points for clinching

    Then we'd get a good s****

I agree with this. I think PBF will have major success with his straight right and jab to the body. He will try to clinch but won't be that successful Pac is good at avoiding it.

Agreed - I don't think it will be an ugly fight per se nor will it be a barnburner.

Jab to the body will be the key to this fight.

I also am sure Floyd is going to walk him down from the opening bell........ok maybe after round 1 ;)

But mark my words on that.

Seems like Roach is expecting Floyd to backpedal. Listening to his gameplan he seems to of based it all around beating one defensive move, the Shoulder roll.

Also seems like they want to not let Floyd fight in his normal pattern\style. Well what if Floyd doesn't let you fight in your normal pattern and puts on smart pressure like he did vs Canelo?

I think Floyd will win, but I am so excited for this one.

I too feel this is going to be an easy fight. Manny just doesn't have the ring IQ for a chess match which lets face it, it's safe to assume it will become and he's Floyd isn't a Rios, Bradley or Algeri caliber fighter. This fight shows Floyd was always a higher pedigree than Pac. Guarantee it.

imagine a 3-4 round war with multiple knockdowns and back-forth action.

Id happily pay all that ppv money for 3 or 4 mental rounds, better than 12 boring ones.

I see floyd frustrating manny big time with manny wanting this so bad. Clinches, runnin, slick movement and pot shots could well make it ugly but i see floyd stoppin manny in the later rounds.

Pac will be anticipating Floyd's right hand which will likely expose him to being available to get hit with the left hook. Conversely, Floyd will be vulnerable to Pac's right hook for the same reason.

I'm sticking to my position that Pac will be able to hurt Floyd early and will do so with the hook.

The jab to the body could be countered by a hook that could trouble Mayweather since that punch is rarely seen coming, especially from someone with serious speed like Pacquiao.

I think Floyd wins fairly easy. 116-112.

Floyd doesn't jab much against south paws. The jab to the body and head is mostly replaced by the lead right to the head and body. Also Floyd doesn't just autonomously throw the jab to the body. It's not a mechanical punch like some are implying here. and let's be honest with ourselves. Manny isn't the
Most accurate puncher especially against a "moving" target. He is good at timing the jab though with his lead left and is very good catching guys with the left that lean down towards their right like Floyd does.
