A gatekeeper doesn't mean he's a bad fighter, he's a good fighter but he's very basic. His speed and activity is what carries him, aside from that he doesn't have any skills to brag about. He can be timed because he's predictable. If you look closely at his resume most of his title wins were against opponents that lacked power. His biggest win to date is Maidana, the same Maidana who later went life and death against ancient Morales. If Khan fights Maidana at 147 he would most likely leave the ring on a stretcher.

i dont think highly of floyd's wins. only his collective body of work is what makes him this supposed to be great. but there is really no measuring stick for him. just beating a collection of good, very good fighters.

he is definitely a lifetime achivement recipient for his contribution. no oscar winning performance.
