Even at Middleweight I can't say he will be his biggest test because I personally believe that Cotto is a bigger test.

$15 million will be his biggest offer to date and he's literally getting it for accomplishing nothing but pure hype out of one-sided fights. Why would they take that offer when they can make more money in the long run fighting hopeless opponents?.

Come now. Cotto was no middleweight and publicly shat himself at the thought of facing GGG. He wasn't interested in that fight in any way, shape or form.

That's not the question I asked you Mr. Scar. Why not just offer him a purse split? If there's a reason and I'm missing it then fill me in as the way I see it that'd be the sensible thing to do with Golovkin exposed if he doesn't accept a reasonable split. 65/35 seems about right all things considered.

I respect your opinion too but I still say he is a hype job. And my comments aren't influenced by hate more-so than they're influenced by reality. The man's entire career is stacked with one-sided fights. I don't think I'm hating when I point out realities about his fights. Almost all of these fights he went in as a 1/200, 1/100 favorite.

Jacobs is another joke opponent who is stylistically designed to take punches as flush as possible, YouTube highlights style. If he beats Alvarez, then he finally scores his first meaningful win and it will still be against someone that is moving up to take the risk rather than sit in one place barking for paydays while fighting bums.

All fighters have a number of pointless fights, that just comes with the territory. Pacquiao had them, Leonard, Ali, Tyson, Lewis, Hagler, Hearns..etc. The difference here is, they didn't make their entire careers off pointless affairs.

Maidana didn't deserve two fights but he sure as hell performed like he deserved them. Mayweather didn't leave either of those fights looking like he made easy paydays. He was bruised, bloodied and even rocked/hurt in those fights. The punch Maidana caught him with in the third round of the rematch would have sparked many fighters senseless.

I'm not bigging up Rubio, but Golovkin did to him what great fighters do to fighters of that calibre, they brush them aside.

The same Rubio went 9 with Pablo and in his next fight went the distance a division up against Dirrell and was never off his feet.

The same Dirrell who apparently beats GGG.

But please explain what Angulo and Trout have done to make them elite level operators? You seem to want to avoid this.

I didn't change jack. I told you before that if he beats Alvarez then he will finally score his first meaningful win, which will automatically mean he proved me wrong because he definitely can take on a real fight and win it.

Jacobs is a joke opponent and the entire division is a joke as well.

Will the division still be a joke when Lara and bigger Charlo move up?

Also how you can call a Olympic silver medalist(he was robbed should of won gold) and a fighter who won world championship in banqkok
also a fighter who is soon to be unified middleweight champion and a fighter who had only lost 4 times in nearly 400 amateur fights i don't know about you but you can't be a hype job and achieve those things. If it was so easy everyone else would be doing it.
I agree on one thing he could certainly test himself more

Golovkin a great fighter?, based on what?, brushing aside the likes of Rubio?. The comedy is rather strong with you, I must admit.

The amateur ranks are something, and the professional ranks are something else. Two completely different worlds. As a professional, he is nothing but a hype job so far. All he has done is fight hopeless opponents and look spectacular dispatching them which is always easy to market, especially in the modern era.

If this fight is so easy, Floyd should make his 50th fight against GGG...

But no chance it would happen.

What makes me laugh is that some people look at the Brook fight and are saying: "Damn, GGG is touchable and is a ko waiting to happen"

The problem...if GGG doesn't respect his opponent power, the fighter he is facing will tag him on multiples occasion before getting stopped. On the other hand, if he knows his opponent can hurt him, he will box behind his jab and destroy him round after round like he did with Lemieux. Even Jacobs knows it.

Floyd would be dead meat. GGG would kill that body and there would be no place to run and hide.

Yes. Bump up this thread and my post if my prediction of him being stylistically tailor made to make Golovkin look good turns out to be wrong.
