    so you will consider inflation but you wont consider streaming??
    back in 2007 streaming wasnt affecting boxing like it is now, so go figure your numbers again...
    it was simply the biggest boxing event to the date like it or not...

    Adjusted for inflation this fight grossed 133 million (2007) us dollars vs 136 million for us dollars for may-dlh.

    Also if the full buys are not in this could easily break the gross record if it gets to 2.3 ish.

    add to that you had to pump it up with a Garcia vs Lucas M UNDER CARD AND its easy to see WHAT ppv is really 1

    Yes, I completely forgot about that. People tuned in not only to watch Floyd and Canelo, but also to watch Matthysse and Garcia. That's 4 fighters.

    I personally was only interested in Garcia-Matthysse, because I knew Floyd was gonna school Canelo in a one-sided mismatch.

    The biggest PPV star of all time is Oscar De La Hoya.
