Because Showtime operates in the US where the PPV will be charged. Even if they sell it in Mexico that doesn't mean squat. A milion buys in mexico is not equal to a million buys in US currency.

This has been beaten to death before. Hatton's huge English buys and Pac's foreign PPV buys does not factor into their PPV numbers. Neither will Canelo's Mexico sales, if they sell it at all. Probably free with a lump sum payment to Showtime.
